Gentle and effective. Thin consistency that is easy to apply and rinse off. Nice cooling sensation when applied. I didn’t find it super tightening, which is fine by me, as those types of mask usually leave my skin feeling very dry; with this mask my skin felt clean and soft. The lavender scent is very pleasant and relaxing.

I am 78 years old, and had bought this mask in the past. For whatever reason, I failed to add it to my regular routine. I decided to use it again when I noticed my pores were visible, and have added it to my weekly skin routine. It doesn't take much to cover your face with a thin layer which is all it takes. I apply a thin layer before my bath, and after I have washed and dried my face. By the time I am done bathing, it's dry. So, then I rinse it off with a washcloth just before I get out of the tub. Easy Peasy. Even after the first use, I noticed the skin on my face looked brighter and tighter, but not at all dried out. My face felt soft and moisturized even before I used moisturizer. In addition, my pores looked smaller and my face was smoother. I have been using this mask once a week and have seen visible results. Since only a thin layer is required, this jar is a good value for the money as it will last for a long time. I plan to continue using this mask and expect the results will be even more evident with continued use. I would definitely recommend the facial mask as it really works, is easy to use, and is easy to add to a skin care routine. I hope this review was helpful for you.

I love this face mask. I wanted to wait to leave a review until I had used it at least a few times because no product is going to magically show you instant results after the first one or 2 uses. I just used it for the 4th time and I am so happy with the results. So, I've never been a big fan of the mud type masks because of how messy the take off part is. However, I'm happy to deal with that with this particular product because this one truly leaves my skin glowing, feeling as soft as a baby's skin, more youthful and I am even left with a more even complexion. I start with any clinique face wash (I have a few different ones I switch between) and then use this right after. My skin feels like it doesn't need anything else after that, but I still follow with my asterwood triple repair serum and then a clinique moisturizer after that. I was just thinking about it, and I think if you just take a tiny bit of the mask, mix it with some water, and use an electronic face exfoliator, it could potentially work really well as a cleanser by itself! So I'm going to try that next time. I don't think I noticed a difference after the first couple of times I used it, but after this time I really noticed my face was glowing and my skin felt tighter. It says to leave it on for 10 minutes, so I did that the first time. 2nd & 3rd times I left it on for 15 minutes. Never really hardened. This time I left it on for 20 with a fan blowing on my face to help it harden and I think that helped with the tightening. It just doesn't harden as fast as it should, so I left it on a bit longer than recommended, but that shouldn't be a problem. These are natural minerals, and it won't hurt you to do that. It's difficult to get it off. It takes a while and stains lighter colored rags. It's not sticky. It definitely feels like it's just mud and it hasn't peeled at all for me. With all that said, I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it's a bit too expensive even though it works as well as it does. I can get a 20 pound tub of dead sea salt (and/or mud) directly from Israel for less than the cost of this 4 oz jar of mud. So I could be making SO much of this myself for less than the cost of one of these containers. I used to own a business making skincare products and that's how I know. I know a lot about skin care and the cost of this mask is definitely overkill. Just because something works well doesn't mean it has to be way overpriced to make the company as rich as possible.

This work so well. It worked wonderful on extremely oily skin leaves, mice skin peeling, clean my pores less visible and also together it is a great idea to your skin care if you have acne problems to get. It is more for sensitive skin type I think because it actually penetrate without leaving agitation. I use this at least once a month and I am very happy with every time I use because my skin glows afterward the texture evens out and reduces redness. I’ve been using this for the past two years and I will not use any other Dead Sea mask. It looks wonderful for my skin since I started using it a lot of my fine lines on my forehead have been reduced and removes the smile lines and makes them smoother. I am 38 years old and I get old that I do not look Im 38 years old so can you take it from me. Its so good.

I really like this mud mask! The scent is pleasant but not overpowering. It is gentle on my skin and easy to use. It is easy to wash off and leaves my skin looking hydrated, healthy and feeling so fresh!

Feels great when you're putting it on, but definitely test it on a small area first. I chose to disregard that and just use it. I had a reaction that left marks for days!! Thankfully, my daughter did not have any issues so I gave it to her.

I am 55 & have struggled with oily skin and large pores that look dirty and dark even after washing my face and exfoliating masks my entire life. I read the reviews for this one & decided to try it out. This is New York Biology Dead Sea Mud Mask for Face and Body, Spa Quality Pore Refiner for Oily Skin is the absolute best product i have ever used on my skin!!!! I am not joking when i say it has transformed my skin tone and oily skin tremendously. I use the mask every 4 days, but even if i miss the 4th day, the 5th. day i get the same results. I begin with my normal face washing routine, apply a thin layer on my face, leave it on for about 15-ish minutes then wash off. When washing it off, I fill my sink halfway with warm water and use a thinner washcloth to remove. Gently take the warm wet cloth and use in a circular motion. I repeat that with rinsing the cloth until it all off. My complexion is so much brighter, skin tone is more even and i do not have to use my blackhead removing tool at all. It does not dry out my skin like some skin mud type masks can do. For under $17.00, you cannot get a better value for taking care of your skin. I do not care to have to spend $100 on a professional facial when i can do the job at home and get 100% better results than i can hope for.

This container is a little smaller than I expected, but understandable as it's not packed with unnecessary fillers. Some of the web photos make the mask look black, or at least extremely dark gray, but mine is much lighter. Matters not at all, except maybe it makes cleanup easier. The big bonus is that this glides on so smoothly and you don't need much. And even more importantly to me, it has a really appealing tingly scent and feel (but not overpowering). This is great for my allergies, I wasn't expecting that benefit. The instructions say to leave a thin layer on 10 minutes until dry, but it never did really dry and I left it on ~20 mins. I'm not concerned about the layer being thin, because the consistency is so nice that it melts into your pores so I think anything thicker would be overkill. It rinsed off pretty easily, leaving a nice rosy glow and (shocker!) soft, moisturized skin. Very unusual - most times I can't get a toner soaked cotton pad across my face fast enough after masking and then have to follow up with some hydration. Not the case here, (although I'd still recommend a light moisturizer). I'm a skin care fanatic and have sold all the major department store brands. This mask is as good as any of theirs, and better than most of them. After the first use I noticed a surprising degree of pore size shrinkage. It's a solid value for the price, and will last a long time.
