A quality and sturdy camera
A good strong sturdy camera. Setting it up for the first time was easy to follow steps. The playback of photos and filming qualities are sharp and clear. The motion sensor is so good, it even recorded a bird flying. I was also impressed with the longevity of the batteries. I kept the camera on for a full week and it only used 5% of battery power, so it's good value for money.I would definitely recommend this camera.

Excellent purchase for the price
Don’t often write reviews but I have to for this product. For the money it’s a quality buy. Set it up and caught the rodent who was munching away on the bait we had put out. Mouse caught several times on video. Extremely easy to review the footage without even moving the camera using the WiFi connectivity. Now using it all around the garden to check various parts. If you need a camera trap this is the one for you!

Great camera that really delivers - excellent value
I'll start the review by saying this is an excellent camera that I would most definitely choose again. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is a couple of foibles mainly related to the software used with the phone. The camera unit is robust and seems well waterproofed - has survived a few days of very heavy rain in my garden. Two mounting options are supplied, one is a strap which is easy to use and works well, the other is a mounting plate with a moveable metal arm. I tried the latter initially as I thought the strap would not work for my mounting place. The mounting bracket really isn't that well made, and the instructions aren't clear at all how to use it properly, so I found that it would quickly become loose and every day I would have to move the camera back to where I needed and try to tighten up various bolts - not ideal! After a few days I managed to figure a way to use the strap and this has been a much better option, camera has not moved at all.Camera uses AA batteries, not supplied, needing 8 of them. This is where it can get expensive. In my garden, I wanted to leave the camera on 24x7, I have foxes and badgers coming to eat throughout the night but sometimes daytime. I found that with my configuration (20 seconds recording time, slightly better image quality than default, all other settings left at recommended values), the batteries lasted less than 10 days. That would be typically capturing 20-30 clips per day. Depending where I was buying the batteries, I could see this was going to be costing me upwards of £5 every 10 days, which was not really workable. I have now bought a set of rechargeable batteries, enough to have a set in the camera and a set charging, which has cost me around £20. Rechargeable batteries seem to deplete a lot more quickly (after one day I was down to 40% according to the camera) but as I can recharge, this is not an issue for me.Image quality, motion detection, night vision are all really excellent. You can configure various settings, some of which appear to affect battery life according to the instructions. My main recommendation would be to increase the recording length from the default of 10 seconds as typically you will find you miss a lot of what is happening, 20 seconds worked much better for me.The camera can be configured via an app, or via the built in display, which is a nice option at this price point. The built in display also lets you see a live preview of the camera view which is handy for ensuring you have it set up correctly. My main issues relate to the app which you need to use if you want to view or download images and videos without removing the SD card from the unit. The premise is quite elegant - the app uses bluetooth to talk to the camera and tell it to turn on it's WiFi, thus saving battery power by not having WiFI running all the time. You then have to manually tell your phone to connect to the camera's WiFI hotspot, and then return to the app which will then automatically connect to the camera. This all works, but is a little clunky - sometimes the WiFi takes 5 seconds to be detected and to connect, sometimes you wait 20 seconds, occasionally it doesn't work at all and you have to restart the app and try again.Once the app is connected is it well laid out and logical to use. You can view previews of images and videos saved on the camera, and then ask to download them to your phone. This is my main complaint - it is *sooooo* slow! A typical video clip on my camera is about 25mb in size. To download three or four videos sometimes takes nearly 10 minutes. Whilst the videos are downloading, the app effectively freezes, so you are unsure if it is working or if it has frozen. Anytime I have more than a couple of videos to download, I will remove the SD card and use my PC to copy them across. As I said at the start of this review, the unit is brilliant and I would buy again, it would be nice if the supporting app could be improved however!

A superb 4K Wi-Fi wildlife trail camera and I kid you not!
The Ceyomur CY65 Wildlife camera is the first one I have bought, and I did so after careful research and on first use I was not disappointed in fact, I was bowled over by so many things I thought I would share some with you. I am going to look at things from a different perspective, given I am a complete novice and there are plenty of folks out there with the expertise to expound about the technical benefits of the Ceyomur CY65 so it's best left in their capable hands. The first thing to say is the camera is light, a good camouflage colour, feels well made, solidly built with no rattles or loose bits. At the underside of the camera is a rubber cap covering the DC-in port and the base of the battery compartment drawer, to one side can be seen perforations for the microphone and the ring for a security lock with the two types of loops for attaching to a tree using the included strap etc.The side clasp fastening is positive, works easily and well, opening the door to the front facing viewing screen, which when in action is crisp and clear. The buttons are a good size well placed and provide a positive action when pressed. The USB-C port is at the base of the camera alongside the actual DC-in port, both being safely inside the waterproof cover.A standard SD card is required which makes sense, especially if dropped in the garden or on location, making it easier to find, and being a 4K camera I went for SanDisk Extreme Pro 64 GB, but it is capable of taking up to 128 GBThe SD cards are easily formatted, and the enclosed manual is helpful to get you started, there is a QR code to access the WILDLIFE CAM app, which I find to be excellent, where images and videos can be viewed via Wi-Fi on your mobile, deleted or kept and downloaded pretty quickly … blooming brilliant facility and outstanding compared to other apps I have used for my night vision camera! It should be noted though that there is a limit of 32 feet to the range of the Wi-Fi signal, which means if sat in the dining room I can view the camera in the garden but not if I had left it on the Common. If there is a lot of activity captured by the camera the batteries run down fairly quickly, which is why I bought 3 sets of 8xAA 2800mAh EBL RECHARGEABLE ones, so I always have at least one set ready to go in the camera. The battery tray itself is firmly held in place in the CY65, so no risk of it falling out and missing any footage I would say.A quick word about setup … it’s a breeze! I didn’t even need the manual, as it is quite intuitive, if you have a little bit of experience with gadgets, but basically you use the ‘Mode’ button to call up the settings screen, then use the ‘UP’ and ‘DOWN’ buttons on the right to highlight the feature you want to edit, and press ‘OK’, the again use the up and down buttons to highlight the setting you want and set it by pressing ‘OK’ … easy-peasy right? When you set the ‘date & time’, you will find you go round in circles, so once you have all the things in place, just press ‘Esc’, to come out of it and then continue as you were. Now down to the nitty-gritty with the conclusion then:• Picture quality - brilliant• Video quality – mesmerising• Would I recommend the Ceyomur CY65? In a heart beat• Would I by another? I already have• Would I buy another brand of trail camera? Absolutely not• Is it value for money? Without a shadow of a doubt• Are there any negative aspects about the Ceyomur CY65? I haven’t found any* Customer service has been outstanding i.e. when I contacted them via email

Amazing video quality and battery life
I was amazed at the night vision quality on this camera, I use the auto IR setting at 2k (factory settings) and the images are great. For info I have the camera is set to capture stills (x3) and video. Once triggered the stills are taken first the video then begins so if the animal is very fast i get a few stills but it will have moved out of frame before the video begins. Not a big issue for me and easily fixed in the settings if needed. Camera build seems very sturdy, I've had it out in awful weather and it's still working perfectly. The associated app is very easy to use and saves having to get the SD card out the camera if you have it mounted high up. So far the first set of batteries are still working after 7 days with the trigger interval set to 5 mins. approx 300 stills and 100 30 sec videos taken in that time. temp is around 4-10 degrees C.
