Very good quality.
Made a batch of Chana Masala with these and it turned out great. Highly recommend their products. Great packaging, authentic ingredients that look and smell delicious.

Am I doing something wrong?
Soaked these for over 12 hrs, boiled them, and they are still hard. Is this just how these are or am I doing something wrong? I've cooked other beans before and never had this issue. They taste alright but aren't good enough for me to order again.

I love these beans
I love crunch and these beans do the job. I love them in soups in salads, or roasted and just eat them as snack.

New package kala chana quality sucks
I was a big fan of jiva organic kala chana. They stopped selling it for sometime recently and saw this new version after long gap. Hoping to get better product ordered two. Very poor quality. Even after soaking in water for long hours, few grains remains raw and others becomes soft. You can’t eat them as salad without removing war grains. Such a pathetic quality for this new package.
