Value for Money
I bought this nest of tables primarily-for the size and sturdiness of the largest of the three, It carries my audio equipment (a stack of an SACD player, amp, radio streamer and two 4k Blu Ray players). Previously this had been set upon a rather discouragingly fragile fold-away table, and I was dreading hearing an ominous crash whenever I wasn't looking. This (largest) table is as solid as a a rock, and with enough, but not excessive, margins around the audio kit, which is all pretty much the standard size. The other tables are equally sturdy but, naturally, smaller.I have noticed no blemishes to the finish, beyond what can be expected of furniture manufactured from a naturally occurring material.I don't review often, but this warranted the five stars I gave it, and I felt I should say so.LATER I have no reason to alter my opinion and have just ordered a second nest of these tables to replace similar that has seen better days.

pleased to make this choice
I paid 65£ for these on Prime on 16th July. Today, 2nd August, I've just noticed they have gone up to 75£ on prime. This seems unjustified rise in less than a month, however i am very happy with this set of tables. Nice solid study wood and easy to assemble. The instructions are a little illogical in the manner they label the sets of screws, washers and rings, but its easy to figure out you need to put 1 washer and then 1 ring onto 1 screw and that goes into 1 corner of a table. Set up all the screws like that and just divide them into piles of 4, one for each table. When tightening the screws keep testing by turning upright and seeing if the are all level or if there is a wobble between opposite legs on the table. If there is just keep tightening the (seemingly shorter) leg and testing.. probably in quarter turns or something. They may need an extra coating, although they have been treated already, they seem very easy to mark for a messy soul like myself. Even though they've raised the price a tenner to 75£ i still think these are worth it, when considering tables of less quality (even MDF) are frequently sold at double or some places in three times the price here. That makes me wonder about the source for this wood though, if its sustainable, if its actually oak..

Good quality tables
Easy to assemble and good sturdy tables. The smallest one is tiny though

Nice set of tables, BUT....
Lovely set of good quality oak tables, BUT the top of the middle-sized one had some bad white staining in several areas, the result I'd imagine of water damage. Was really disappointed when I saw this. This should really have been picked up when it was packed in production, so JB have some quality control issues to address there. I decided to try to sand it out and re-oil, as Amazon were out of replacement stock. It's come up nicely after a bit of effort, expense and mild panic, but I was reassured by another reviewer here who had had to do the same thing. I'd recommend you check the finish of each table carefully before starting to assemble them. Other than that, assembly was simple with the supplied Allen key and they now look great. Pity about the need for the DIY though.

look as though they cost 5 times the money
These tables look like 200 pound ones. Very solid. Easy to assembly (all scows and allen key are supplied - it took me 20mins in total). I bought a second set (used my cordless drill, and they only took 4-5 mins to assemble. There are some "water marks" (it's the wrong words I know) on the wood from the packaging. A light polish with a duster removed these. If that hadn't worked, I was going to give them a wipe with linseed oil (I still have some my old cricketing days). Don't get me wrong, you should be pleased that they are so well wrapped in bubble wrap and polystyrene thin protective sheets (which is what left the marks).I come back to my first point … they look as though they cost 5 times the money.

Nice tables - poor service and delivery.
Disappointed that it said on Amazon that they were being delivered Wednesday and what happens - they are delivered Tuesday. Really frustrating as both me and the wife work full time. We ordered on Boxing day too so they took a while to be delivered. We hoped they would have been delivered between Xmas and New Year. Just disappointed but, on the other hand, are pleased with the tables and the quality of them. Only 3 stars as when I e-mailed he seller they were not at all helpful and started quoting "Amazon policy". The sellers policy seems to disregard hard-working people like me and my wife and they need to address this. Feel a bit undervalued and that is a shame. This said the tables are solid, easy to assemble, and look good. Just disappointed with delivery service. At least with Prime you can order the day before and be guaranteed next day delivery. If we ever buy anything similar this is what we will do. Only 3 stars due to poor service. You are limited to 200 characters on the delivery feedback and hence posted here!

THE REPLACEMENT TABLES ARE ALL OK
We are a couple of 80 year olds just getting to use your services . This one has caused us some right grief the tables arrived exactly on time unfortunately the legs to large table did not fit. I downloaded the returns label to be collected on the 12th August nobody collected these items we have then been told that we would have the money stopped from our bank account for these as well as the replacements. So how do we find Yodel all e-mails are receive only. Finally managed after ringing other carriers to get a phone number and they collected the goods today. Never again.
