When I first opened the package, I was surprised by how compact these emergency flares were — definitely smaller than I imagined. However, once I tested them, they worked perfectly. The lights are extremely bright and can easily be seen from far away, making them great for roadside emergencies, especially at night or in bad weather. The build quality feels solid, and the waterproofing is a big plus. I also like that they come in a sturdy carrying case, which keeps them protected in my car. Even though they’re smaller than expected, they do the job exactly as advertised.

OK, so overall this is my favorite new toy! They are small and compact and the little case fits perfectly in the door well of my Tundra. I have "Delivery Vehicle" Magnets on my truck. Those combined with emergency lights and these flares literally make me feel ok to deliver and know my truck will be there when I get back. they are also SUPER bright! They are very noticeable and are beyond sturdy. The folding base is magnetic so the stick flares are perfectly sturdy on the base. The kit brings 2 flares, 2 bases and the carrying case. they are about 6 inches tall and very bright. Three modes, Flashing Red, Still Red and White. Flashing red is my favorite! One of my flares is defective in that the white LED does not work, so I will update this review based on the service. If you don't see anything it means that they took care of me.

I chose these over the new puck style lights because the batteries are easier to access in a pinch. They are bright and effective, perfect gift for loved ones. They may not be extremely water proof, but they’ll probably work through a storm no problem. Magnets are strong and the little fold out bases are a nice addition. These are basically just a modified flashlight. The flashlight part is not particularly bright but enough to illuminate anything in an emergency situation. The strobes on the other hand are very bright. I would highly suggest grabbing some energizer lithium batteries if you are going to buy these. The lithium’s have 20 year shelf life and won’t leak. The last thing you want is to be in an emergency situation and have dead batteries or ones that leaked out and corroded the terminals. They are more expensive but a no brainer when you think about the purpose of these lights. Make sure to pop the batteries in and test each light before you put them into storage... that way you know these will just work when you pull them out for use. The plastic case has a little extra room to drop a few spare batteries which wouldn’t be a bad idea as a backup... just in case.

4 stars only because i have yet to test them in the field,. Smaller than I expected which makes them easy to store, seem well made, good case bright red flasher, all in all well pleased and ordering a second set for my wife's car.

I bought this to add to my truck in the event of a roadside emergency, especially during winter months. For the price these are built well enough to suit their purpose, but likely would not pass the Tac-Lite Humvee drive over test. The strobing light is BRIGHT even in moderate daylight and definitely will get the attention of anyone driving up on it, or being uses to wave down help at night time. If they miss it, they weren’t looking. The magnetic ability is a major plus, being able to both stick to the side of the vehicle, and stay inside the magnetic four leg stand each comes with. The carry case is locking and lightweight and small enough to stow away just about anywhere. Overall, good investment, Hope I’ll never need them. SEE VIDEO AND PICS

Easy to set up and store. Item got christened a little bit earlier than originally planned and provided a perimeter lighting and lane narrowing light during a recent accident I was involved with....I was not the accident party as in vehicle involved but I provided some assemblance of traffic control until First Responders arrived since one of the involved vehicles was a rollover in the middle lane that was already narrowed due to construction. Red flashers were visible and the magnetic base allowed light to be stuck to the rolled over vehicle providing a reference for non involved vehicles to move around without further damage. No major injuries but both vehicles totaled. Lights worked as advertised and kept two sets in each of my vehicles for exactly reasons like this!

I purchased 2 and was surprised how bright they are. They seem to be of excellent quality. I purchased 2 more, 2 for the front of the car and 2 for the back of the car. Pack extra batteries with them, just in case and check the batteries regularly. The way folks drive today you never know when you may need them . 5 stars *****

While I don't do much night driving, I wanted something in the car that would make it apparent that a disabled vehicle was on the roadside, just in case. These "electric flares" fit the bill. They're bright enough to be seen at a significant distance and are compact enough to fit in the glove box. And they're safe to use. Just remember to check on the batteries once in a while to ensure they're ready for use. I've put one of these lights in each car. Highly recommended.

Works nice

The pics and video show the stand twisting to have a 4 legged stand. My case has 2 stands but they don't seem to attach to each other. If they do, then there's no stand for the other flare. How do the stands work??

Poor quality. Returned it. Feels like an under $5 quality product.
