Works well as a rough edger, let’s say if you’re making a new bed or maybe a stone border for an existing bed. This will save a lot of time rather than digging a trench by hand. That said you’re not going to use this for a nice manicured edge next to a driveway or along a curb. Changing out from the cultivator tines is easy. Overall, I’m satisfied with the quality. A little pricey but if you use the rototiller a lot, you’ll find it serves a niche in your garden work.

This won’t replace the high speed edgers. But it does cut the grooves in the soil so my 20 volt edger can do its job. It was frustrating to edge my yard and every time I hit some soil the edger would stop. But I already had 6 20 volt Dewalt batteries from other purchases so I wanted to try their cordless edger. It works fine but has very little power. Now with the Honda cutting new grooves every year the little cheap edger does a great job making the sidewalks and drive look nice. Get it. It works great for its intended purpose.

The edger was hard to mount on the shaft, I had to apply a little grease. You have to use this attachment pulling the machine in reverse for it to work best taking time to let it dig into the soil a bit. The results are not a clean edge. You should really follow up with your weed Wacker for the sharp look. A commercial type edger with a rotating blade definitely works better giving you that clean cut look and straight lines. Had I known the results of this attachment I probably would have passed on it. Update: after using this attachment a few times it's really not worth the effort. Honda for the first time fell short on this. I probably won't use this attachment again.

Simple instructions. Very easy to install. Makes your Honda cultivator more versatile. It does a much quicker job on overgrown sidewalks than a shovel or normal edger.
