Lifetime 6411 Outdoor Storage Shed with Window, 8 by 7.5 Feet,Putty/Brown

For assembling the floor area there are two CUW items which should be interlocked into CUD piece to form the floor of the shed. One of the CUW pieces is half an inch shorter than CUD piece. This defect made it impossible to correctly interlock it to the CUD piece (section 6 in the assembly instruction guide book). So, I never could assemble the floor area properly. Now, the entire shed sits idle under a tarp in my backyard after two days of work.

This shed is sturdy and worth the price. It is a significant job to assemble, but if you expect that they you won't be disappointed. I marked down to 4 stars because it arrived late. We are overall very pleased now that we have it assembled.

My 15+ year old Rubbermaid garden storage shed was falling apart and too small. So after alot of research I decided to buy this one. It has great reviews and only a few people had issues. All was packaged well and delivered timely. In fact all was going perfectly until it wasn't. My handyman built a nice level wood and cinder block foundation for the shed. He assembled the floor and sides and those went together nicely. The doors fit perfectly and opened and closed as designed. Then the trouble started. As soon as he tried to install the roof the shed walls and floor buckled, the doors went askew and the shed started leaning to the left. He tried for 2 days to make the roof work with the walls - no luck. Lengthy conversations with the manufacturer provided no help except to say the roof was assembled perfectly. It just does not fit. So after paying a thousand dollars for the shed and another thousand for the assembly, I now have to pay to have it disassembled to return it. I just LOVE throwing away a thousand dollars. Don't you?

Received boxes in good condition, heavy though. Regarding assembly - started by putting gravel down then a base of 2x4 pressure treated 16" on center , then covered with 1/2" ply score, without doing this and putting on ground would be very difficult ! From there assembly went well , though most difficult were putting in walls to floor, that is where good base came in handy. As far as the finished shed could not be more satisfied !Scott R

Seems to be as advertized. It took 2 of us to assemble over 1-1/2 days.Shipping on the other hand 😡 it took one day to ship frkm NJ to Florida. BUT it sat at the terminal, 35 miles away, for 10 days 😡😡
