SITKA Gear Men's Incinerator Aerolite Insulated Hunting Jacket

I love this jacket! This is my second one. If I had a complaint, I would prefer the hood to be detachable. The jacket is very warm. When whitetail hunting in late-season Kansas, it can easily be in the low teens. This jacket which Marikno Wool and the Sitka Bibbs will allow me to stay out all day. I do have a complaint I hope the good folks at Sitka will read. Not everyone is built like Cam Hanes. I have a 44-inch chest and weigh 190 lbs. The chest is about right but the arms are too long.

This brand is expensive I’ll give you that, but anything worth its weight while hunting in extremely cold weather usually is. Apparently this coat did it’s job well, not one complaint!

I grabbed a size up because it was 47% off and figured it will give me room for layering. Surprisingly light for what it offers. I sincerely appreciate EuroOptic overnighting this from PA because I was hoping to use it this weekend!

Although this seems pricey you definitely get what you pay for. Exactly what I had hoped for!

It’s so good that it almost gives you a climax when you wear it. Worth every penny.

I liked the fit but it wasn't as warm as expected. I wore undergarments and the Incinerator jacket in 30 degree weather and still got a little cold. I wore it deer hunting sitting in a ladder stand. I would recommend it.

Well thought out product, excepting there is very limited waist adjustment. Not a concern with bibs on, but does hang wide open at the bottom. As with any Gore waterproof product there is a noticeable rustle, almost a crackle to the jacket. Very lightweight, very thin when packing. It fits on the larger scale of the size chosen, particularly in the roomy torso. Grunt tube and rangefinder pockets are very handy, handwarmer pockets are suitable for only that, with Berber fleece on the front inner face, inner face is a flat synthetic. I was torn between this and the Fanatic...if buying again I'd go Fanatic due to the rustly nature of the Incinerator waterproofing membrane. Quite warm with a 350 weight Merino base layer only in 15F weather. Totally windproof.
