Azrael had never recovered from losing the love of his life. His friends in the underground encourage him to go on a night out only they have set him up. It turns out it's speed dating night and he can't get out of participating. There is a tasty vampire that he is drawn to and she might just be the fun he is needing. Deirdre is looking for a bit of fun and she sets her sights on the dark and brooding Azrael. Deirdre has baggage from her past from when she was turned into a vampire. She is also someone who doesn't follow rules very well. When Azrael tells her not to touch his scythe of course she touches it, finding herself split from her body. Azrael now has 3 days to sort this problem out and get her back into her body or he will lose her forever. Realizing that she means more to him than he first thought he will move all heaven and hell to get her back. There are no rules he will not break to get her back. The race is on. I absolutely love this author, her mix of the paranormal, humour and romance is brilliant.I think this story flowed well, the characters made a great pair and were well thought out.The incident with the scythe just absolutely made me laugh and in all honesty I can relate, if I got told not to touch the weapon I probably would.Really good fun and I would definitely continue this series with the other authors.

Unfortunately Deirdre’s lack of keeping her hands to herself resulted in her death at the hands of Azreal’s scythe now it was a race against time to make her whole. Sweet, steamy with absolutely amazing chemistry between Azreal and Deirdre. Wonderfully written, fast paced story that was engaging and fun from beginning to end.
