Not for Beginners but has potential
This thing is very tempting at $34 since it's basically the same thing as an Asus Tinkerboard with eMMC built in. It does require some tinkering to get going unless you are happy with the built in Ubuntu or Android. You cannot boot to SD card unless you enable maskrom. You can use tweezers to do this or solder on a button, you just need to hold it for a second while applying power. Also, the original MiQi forum and Github is long gone so you are on your own with a lot of things. No 3.5mm audio/video out, HDMI only. Not raspberry pi case compatible since HDMI is moved and no 3.5mm. GPIO is also proprietary.Overall if you're linux savvy, you'll find the value here for $33 to be incredible. Includes heatsink, 5v 3a power supply, and USB cable
