I don't recommend keeping a dog in this type of harness for too long at a time. But it was a wonder for allowing me to trim my fearful Maltese's nails. Now he knows it won't hurt and he'll get treats after. In other words, it helped for the initial trim and to get him over that hump of being afraid. This is a solid sling, and the straps hold it well. It's almost like a comforting hug for a pup. It's a little difficult to initially get the dog in the sling and get it attached to the bar. It would help to have two people, but will work with one. It was invaluable for getting my dog comfortable with grooming.

My dogs are clearly comfortable in the sling. It helps with home grooming because it can be challenging to work with feet and faces in motion. Once they get in the sling they just surrender and you can take your time get the accuracy that can be elusive with a wiggling dog.I'm holding back a star on the implementation. You have to figure out where to hang it. I was lucky to have accidentally ordered a short shower rod and I was able to put it in the door frame. I would love to be able to find a frame that is free standing that I could bring into my Livingroom where I groom most.The dogs are comfortable and if I walk away for a minute they are safe and relaxed.

This product for my pet works a lot better easier to get her in better to groom your pet

I like this it keeps my dog in place so I can groom and do the nails easier

Good product but it didn't work for my cat. He was still able to get out.
