I bought these in XS as a base layer for my petite almost-7-year-old daughter for a snowy trip to Joshua Tree National Park. It was unusually cold with highs in the mid-30s and snow flurries on and off one of the days, and we needed to be warm enough to hike and scramble on rocks for several hours. These did the trick, without even needing a middle layer between her jacket, and were so comfortable she wanted to sleep in them that night! Would purchase again.

The outside is very slick and the inside is fleecy. It fits pretty spot on for my daughter - just a bit short and tight. Planning on her wearing under jeans during a snowy vacation but she enjoys wearing them all the time.I haven't washed them, but I will probably put them in a knit bag to try to keep them from pilling. They feel like they will pill easy, but shouldn't matter too much for lounging and as a base layer.One star off because the pants came with the tiniest ink looking spot. Not worth it to send back.

Second Update: We ordered 3 more colors because my wife loves them so much. This makes 6 of these sets we've bought. They are actually for my tiny wife rather than a child and she loves them for a lot of reasons winters. She has a very active job which requires her to work both inside and outside, so she needs to keep warm AND to wick away perspiration sometimes... plus it doesn't hurt that they are just stunningly cute on her.Quick Update: Wife wore these to a volleyball tournament with a cute vest and short shorts and red sandals...wow what a stunner! Made her look 10 years younger than her 30 years and even teens were coming up and giving her compliments. She was totally tickled about it.Original:My tiny wife is getting ready for winter. She's from Philippines, so the cold gets to her pretty easily. Last year she worked using fleece work out pants, often 3 pr at a time, but wanted to go more reasonably this year, so she (4'9/95 lbs) is ordering large girls sizes to get the best and most consistent fit. She also liked the TrimFit brand but these are a little warmer, she says. So these were ordered size large, but are a tiny bit tight in the waist, so we have ordered again in lavender and in green size XL. I wanted to exchange the red pair for XL but she would not allow me to use the free return... I guess it's not THAT tight on her.These are the best quality of the three brands we've tried and by far the warmest. She often has to work in unheated homes, so thus the requirement for thermals. She's quite pleased with these at this price.

I was very confused when trying to pick out the size. They have a photograph of a search chart when you scroll through the pictures telling you to measure the chest and waist which I did. The size chart didn’t have a length listed or an age range. Maybe there’s a size chart somewhere else I missed but these turned out to be way too small for my granddaughter even though the chest and waist measurements were accurate. She didn’t wear them it has a thick band on the Waste which looks like it could be annoying but maybe not. It says it’s fleece lined although I couldn’t really notice it but it might have had a little bit of fleece on the inside Nothing too thick. We couldn’t try them out to see how they kept you warm since we had to return them. I ended up grabbing some cheap ones at the thrift store. All in all I’m sure the product is fine.

I bought these for my girl to wear for ice hockey. She wears them into the rink and wears the top under her pads. She wears her pants out of the rink. She also likes to wear them around the house.

My kids have yet to complain about the cold when they wear these. They are excellent and at a fair price point. Don’t skip on cold weather gear. We’ve skied in sun zero temps wearing these and snow pants with no complaints.

I have purchased 2 sets of these, a set of cuddle duds and a set of UA cold gear. We got 32” of snow 10 days ago so all sets got put into heavy rotation. This set is the most functional for the price, so I bought another set for Christmas. The UA is the best quality and fit, but sold out everywhere and the most expensive. The Rocky ones are very good. My kiddo stays warm in them. I had bought the original pair last year and they were just too big. She has grown into them this winter. She wore them a few times last year, they wash well. The cuddle duds aren’t very warm at all, more like pajamas than baselayers. I would recommend these as a decent set for backyard play or family winter activities.

It’s a shame, the material is very comfortable and the fit is perfect, but the quality of the stitching is ridiculously terrible! Brand new out of the bag she put it on and the armpits completely ripped open. By lunchtime the crotch was completely open, and now the side seams are opening up too! I’m glad we have a sewing machine and a little bit of spare time but that is ridiculous. This company should be ashamed. Sloppy loose stitching, definitely children at a sweat shop. I’m pretty shocked at this. The threads aren’t even tied off.

I LOVE the material. I'm a woman (30) and got an L. Was far big for a tight fit (good for casual fit). I dang wish I can get an M right now. I'm 5'6" and 115 lbs, the L was too big for my purposes, that is being under tight fitting clothes. A+ otherwise

This is a must for Canadian winters, or cold night camping. My daughter was warm all night in a tent, in the Canadian Rockies at 4C weather. There was 0 sweat and she loved the fabric. It is thick but breathable. Have not washed it yet, but unless my review changes, it's a keeper! I am expecting this to hold well when we hit -40.

This is really comfy and cozy as a base layerMy kid uses it to ski or on very cold days.I would recommend. I think it was a bit on the large size

I ordered it for an outdoor overnight school camp for my daughter in February. Arrived on time, and the fit and color is lovely. My daughter won't wear anything that doesn't feel soft against her skin and she loved the material. She was warm and comfortable throughout her trip. Am going to order more sets for my older daughter for the winter
