I bought several of these for our kids. They are all pretty comfy for sleeping on your back or side. I've tried them out for naps and I love them. All of the kiddos give them a thumbs up as well! I did notice a slight variation in firmness on one of them, but it's not a big deal. I'd sleep the night well on any of them. I would purchase these again if given the chance and I would definitely recommend them to others.Side note: One of the main reasons we bought these is because they are made in the USA and do NOT have any fiberglass issues that have been reported on cheaper Chinese made mattresses.

A faint smell that dissipated very fast. Thickness is good and it is comfortable, pretty mattress case that can be washed, according to the instructions.

Being hesitant to order a mattress online I carefully read all reviews. I chose this mattress and am very happy I did. Since I had no place to put the twin mattress that was currently on the bed (with no box spring), I put this new Thrive Aspire - 8 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress on top of the old mattress to use as a "foundation". It worked perfectly. After sleeping a few nights on this Gel Memory Foam mattress I am very happy with the purchase. It is perfect -- so perfect in fact that the cats love it too and want to snuggle up with me. Very happy with my purchase. I don't find that I sink down like some foam mattresses

This is the most comfortable mattress I've ever had. There's something about it that I can't understand: I like firm mattresses, and this feels perfect for me. My son likes softer ones, and he loves it too. I couldn't afford a 13", so I got the 8" one and I was resigned to not be completely satisfied... I was wrong. I'm so glad I got this one!

I needed an inexpensive slimmer mattress for the top bunk on my daughters bed. This fit the bill! It is firm but comfortable and it was not too thick in depth. I suggest this to anyone in need of a decent inexpensive bunk mattress.

Very comfortable. Purchased for my 6 year old son and when the kids climb in our bed someone’s one of us will go sleep in there! Love that it is made in USA. Wish there was a king size I could purchase for our master bedroom.

Too firm for me, but my daughter loves it and sleeps perfectly on it.My number one concern about this mattress is even though they say they don’t use this that and the other chemicals in making their mattresses....the gases/fumes that have been coming out since rolling it out a month ago. And to have my darling daughter breathing that all night every night while she sleeps! :|

We bought the twin size and are very happy so far. The mattress expanded to the full 8 inches quickly and without any smell. It is firm but comfortable. Researched different mattress for a longggg time and glad we went with this US made option.
