I have bought several of these over the last 30 years as gifts. Make sure you buy the original Italian manufacturer who is licensed watch out for cheap Chinese versions. Heavy well made a conversation PEICE and a sample of high design.

It was a little cheeky price, but I'll be honest, I like it. It works, and it looks really cool.

I purchased this juicer as a birthday gift, and personalized it a little bit. Since my friend is a fan of modern art, I thought a futuristic design would be great. She loves it because it is functional and accentuates her interior.

I’ve long lusted after this juicer. Love the War of the Worlds vibe. I finally ordered one! Not for juicing, mind you, but for display. I have it paired with a model of the SST Concord, an atomic mushroom cloud lamp, and some Italia candle holders and candles. I have friends who love it as a juicer. I love pieces where function and form come together well.

While this is a great juicer, I like it more as a conversation piece. It looks like a UFO has just landed on my kitchen counter. I bought it over the holidays (Merry Christmas to me) and everyone who has come to my house since has asked about it. It's beautiful in its simplicity and clean lines. Love the history of how this little juicer came to be. Expensive (really expensive), but worth it. If you must know about the function....just place a wee dish under the pointy piece, use the top like a reamer and the juice just slides down and into the dish. Strain before using to get out the pips and pulp. Easy peasy.

I had imagined it being much bigger - but still - a beautiful design and easy function. And cleans it 2 seconds. ( as long as it is not secretly a Martian creature which will be activated when the "Invasion" begins.)
