Beard Comb and Beard Brush Set with Velvet Pouch

I have owned this for a while. I really enjoy it. I never figured to use a tiny scissor but it is a lifesaver around the lips. The brush is great for controlling my beard. I don't use the comb as much, but it is still a nice piece. This is a good size but still viable for travel. There is no scent (your weird for asking Amazon). I don't really clean these things, they clean me (like New Girl). That being said, sure you can rinse it off but that seems strange to me. Who washes a brush? As far as detangling, if that is an issue with your beard you should shave it off and stop growing it.

I made a marvelous decision in purchasing this brush because it was exceptional; it was everything that was advertised and then some. I was not sure if I would have bought a beard brush because my beard is not very thick. Now that I bought it, I found it very helpful in just straightening some hairs and directing them toward certain areas of your face. It made my beard appear much more full, so I definitely suggest buying a beard brush for those people whose facial hair is let's say "challenged," and this would most certainly be the one to go with. Not only does it help cover patchy areas, but it also makes the beard just look better. You style the hair on your head using brush/comb, so why wouldn't you use a brush for your beard? Using your hands are great, at first. I mean, once your hair grows, it takes a life of it is own and grows in all weird and different directions. So, your hands can only get you so far; you are probably figuring this out which is why you are here. What was once just a silly No-Shave November beard proposal, turned into a beard that I am very happy with. I do not think I could say that if it was not for this brush. At first, this brush was rough on my face (I still have soft skin), but over time I got used to it, and now I like the feeling. I found myself brushing my beard whenever I could like when I am watching tv just because it became fun. I did not see any hair falling off from the brush like some of the others are saying. I suggest buying some oil and/or wax for your beard because well, you probably use some sort of product in you​r hair so use some in your beard too. This brush does a great job in distributing the oil and wax through your beard. Well, I hope this helps some hesitant buyers out there on their decision. Well, have a good one!

I picked this up mainly to improve how I apply beard oil and deal with some dry skin under my beard, and it’s been working really well. The boar bristle brush does a great job of getting the oil all the way down to the skin instead of just sitting on the surface. That alone made a noticeable difference for me. I had some dryness under my beard, and using this helped exfoliate a bit while also distributing the oil better, which cleared things up. The wooden comb feels good in the hand and seems well made. I like that it has both a coarse and fine side, so you can use it for different beard lengths or styles. It has a natural wood smell, nothing chemical or off putting, just a light wood and finish scent that fades quickly. Everything is very easy to use, whether you are just brushing oil through or doing some light grooming. The brush has a good balance of firmness and softness, so it works well without feeling too harsh on the skin. Appearance is clean and simple, nothing flashy but it looks like a quality set. The size and fit of each piece feels right in the hand and easy to control while using. The scissors are included and do cut well, but I haven’t used them much since I usually stick with clippers for trimming. Still nice to have as an option. It also comes with a travel bag. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s perfectly sufficient for keeping everything together and makes it easy to carry or pack if needed. For the price, this feels like a good value. You get a complete kit that actually performs well instead of just filler items. Overall, if you’re dealing with dry skin under your beard or just want a simple, complete grooming kit, this is a solid choice.

First off, as far as the picture I posted, everything in photo was included except the beard balm by Reuzel. (Bought it separately and did not know I was going to use photo in review) The main 2 items, the pearl wood comb and boar bristle brush. Comb: it seems to be very sturdy, fits in the palm of my hand (I have seen reviews starting it was too big or made cheeply, simply not true) Brush: simple construction, wood handle with holes and hair seated in them. It works very well for quickly grabbing the hairs that are curling back into the skin and allowing them to grow. It may prevent future irritation to skin because of this. Like with any brush, bristles will fall out. This is expected. (I have been seeing reviews of people having bristles fall out in sink, to get to this level of loss, it was either a one off or them were using something like the comb running thru the bristles to exaggerate the bristles lost.) Now for extras in box, scissors and bag. They do have scissors that come with it, and as you can imagine, they are not the greatest. It is very nice to have it in the kit though. The bag is simple and covers items for easy carrying. Like I stated in the beginning, the balm is not included, just a photo I took to show someone what I got and decided to use it for the review. The comb and brush work the balm in very well and help spread it under the beard on the skin. Someone like me having short nails, this helps a lot. In conclusion, this was very nice for under $10.

The bristle brush has little threads that are falling out. However I think it is quite useable. I own another brush I've been using for many years and it's comparable. The main purpose of me buying the set was for the little scissors which can't cut a wet paper bag. Every time I use them I'm lucky if it cuts what I'm trying to cut and sometimes it just rips hair out of my mustache which feels wonderful... The wooden brush looks cool but not sure what it's used for. I'm only giving it three stars because of the usable shedding brush.

The quality of the brush is pretty bad. Whenever I run my finger over the bristles, a load of them come out.

Beard brush might be good but the scissor is very very poor quality. I guess you can go for it and be patient but if you re a person who wants easy and trustworthy grooming friends, I would wander around to find my favorite grooming tools before ending up here.

I contacted the seller, and within a few minutes, they responded, apologized, and said they would send me a replacement. They sent me a full set in less than 2 days! WOW! I love this brand and will continue buying their products.
