Great Compact Size - Dries Quick!
I've used those round stackable plastic dehydrators for the last couple of decades; they do the job. However, I was blown away that it took 6 hours to make Beef Jerky in this dehydrator, when the old plastix towers took a minimum of 12 hours. Apple slices and bananas took 6 hours as well. Fruit leather was done in 4. What a game changer! Let me break down this machine: Build: the whole interior is stainless steel, even the shelves. Easy to wash, and no plastic touching your food. It is about the size of an early 2000s microwave, and could easily be stored away in a cabinet. That does not mean this is small, because it has 6 trays roughly 12" square. The machine is very retro looking. Features: This is a set-and-forget machine. There are buttons with a digital display that take the guesswork out of dehydrating your treats. It automatically turns off after it reaches the time you have set, too! That means delicious, healthy snacks produced while you are at work, without having to worry about them. I would like to point out that I purchased this when there was a deal going on for an extra free tray (that's why you'll see 7 trays.) All in all, this machine is amazing. We have made loads of snacks that the kids have enjoyed, and I love knowing it wasn't full of chemicals or junk. You will also find some oven mitts, a recipe book, non-stick mats, and two storage containers in your box. Word to the wise: do not put thin fruit leather puree on those mats! It definitely stuck. Grab a silicone baking sheet or some parchment. This would be great for a dorm, apartment, or small house because of the size. I got it for our homestead. I'd jump on this item while it's still available! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Two years later…
I purchased this small countertop dehydrator in 2022 to dry foraged mushrooms, herbs, and fruits and vegetables. I have been extremely pleased with the build, workmanship, and dependability of this machine, and I have used it several times a week during the growing season with no issues whatsoever. I did not expect it to be as good as it has proven to be for the price I paid, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Things I love: The compact size fits in my small kitchen without wasting precious counter space. It’s quiet! It has adjustable temperature and time settings to fully customize your dehydrating schedule depending on what material you’re drying. I can easily pop in herbs, or thinly chopped veggies, fresh coconut, or even flowers, and have them ready to store in hours. I have no dislikes at all! In fact, I plan to purchase another one to keep in my art studio for use with drying non food items like clay and glass putty: This dehydrator is simply fantastic, still going strong two years later.

3D Print Filament Dryer, Hell Yeah
Full disclosure, I am not using this for food. I am using this for 3D Printing filament drying and annealing. I must say, so far it's been extraordinary, works incredibly well - especially for the price. It's the perfect size for a 1kg spool, weeks incredibly easily, it soars past temperatures of other specially-designed dryers (BIG + there) and has a superior timer, the ONLY nit puck I have is it is set by hour. For my use it's not a huge thing, but if you're using it for less than hours' time wise you may have to set a secondary timer. Due to my use-case I don't have to clean it, but it's all metal inside and comes with extra inserts so it should be a breeze to clean. It's a considerably light device which is awesome, and takes up very little room all things considered. I haven't successfully annealed anything yet, but I will be tonight, so if I remember I will report back then.

Works great!
I ordered this to dehydrate some eggs as I am overflowing currently since it’s laying season for my hens! I had researched ways to preserve eggs so that come winter time when I’m not getting many eggs, I won’t have to then purchase them from grocery stores and dehydrating the eggs seemed like the best way to preserve them for our situation. The item arrived on time, and everything was in there, although when I went to purchase there was a code I had hit that had an offer of a free tray, and I did not get that (not a huge deal honestly) I unboxed it, ran it for the 30 min per the instructions, and rinsed all the trays etc to prep to dehydrate. I got the eggs blended up and into the silicone trays (I bought the ones for the 4 tray on this link, I wish they had bigger ones that fit these trays fully though) It runs super quietly, has a super bright LED light for you to check in on what you are dehydrating, this morning I came out and was tidying up the kitchen when it completed. It did a great job dehydrating the eggs and I was able to get them out and everything done and another batch started. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it at least came with 2 properly sized silicone trays, personally I’ll be mainly using this for fruit leather and eggs, so I had to buy trays and the 2 non stick mats that come with it are not useful for liquid honestly. Otherwise this is a great little homesteader piece of equipment and will definitely get a lot of use at our little homestead!

Perfect for my use
This appliance is small, but it's perfect for 1-2 servings of dried fruits (great for school snacks) and even the occasional homemade beef jerky (great for football nights). The oven's 4 trays give more surface area than you'd think. There is noise when in use but not very loud. The oven is VERY sturdy ... cords are of great quality... door is quite substantial. The oven can be stored away easily and "attractively" for the next use, but I often leave this one sitting on the counter because I find I use it more than I might otherwise. Disclaimer: If you are new to "dehydration," please know that the process takes time ... but this machine is equivalent to times of other dehydrators I've had. All-in-all, I am pleased with my little dehydrator!

It works
Works great and I love that the trays are stainless steel. They are easy to clean and hold up in the dish washer. Sometimes it seems to take a little longer to dehydrate than I would expect, but it eventually gets the job done.

Small size and easy to use
I ordered this specifically because I wanted a food dehydrator, but I didn't want one that would take up a ton of room in my kitchen. I have a lot of appliances, so space is at a premium. I have no plans of dehydrating stuff in bulk. I mainly plan on dehydrating leafy greens for easy storage that i can later feed to my two birds. My first test was dehydrating ambrosia apples. I cored and sliced 6 apples and placed them on the 4 trays. Six ambrosia apples is the max capacity for this dehydrator. I set the time and temp using the touch controls on the top of the dehydrator and let it do its thing. After 8 hours, I had perfect dehydrated apple slices for the birds (and a few for myself). The machine is super quiet. The kitchen has to be completely silent for you to hear the fan on the dehydrator. Otherwise, the sound is easily covered up with any other background noise. The dehydrator comes with 4 metal racks, 2 silicone sheets, 2 plastic food containers, and 2 small silicone oven mits that are just big enough for your fingers. The dehydrator itself and the metal racks are sturdy and well built. The plastic food containers are kind of flimsy but do the job. The silicone sheets and mits I have not used yet, so I have no opinions on those. Overall, this was a great buy. I look forward to using this again in the future.

My experience the Septree food dehydrator
It's not a bad dehydrator as it gets the dehydrating job done. However, due to It's size, you can't find third party accessories such as dehydrator silicon trays, the ones for making fruit roll ups and they allow you to reduce messes inside the machine. Another reason also is that, the dehydrator silicon perforated sheets that come with the machine are thin and soft thus after some real rough use and staining it will start slowly breaking off. If not careful it can contaminate food being prepared in the machine
