Red & Black variation: First look is great, has a good weight to it but not uncomfortable, lovely color, the links are easy to take on and off and it comes with two very nice microfiber cloths to clean the watch. The "buckle" is also unlike that of any other watch I have seen, and it works great. It's oddly hard to explain but it it's two plates hinged together that when folded hide behind the rest of the band except for the locking mechanism which is a thin piece of metal the same size as one of the links that is easy to open and close. Also the durability seems pretty high quality as I bumped it into a doorway while walking through and it took off a little paint from the doorway with no damage to the watch itself. I can't say anything about it's long-term durability yet and some of the other reviews worried me a bit, but so far I haven't come across any real issues. The only problem I see that it may have is there are no time marks in between eight and ten on the face due to the circle. But that doesn't really affect much otherwise and it adds some nice extra depth to the watch so it's only a problem for opinion.

Looks nice enough, but doesn't keep time. Gave it a good long wind and a shake and all the things you're meant to do with this kind of watch and then wore it for a couple of days with plenty of movement, but no matter what I did it's still slow by a couple of minutes per hour, which over the course of a day makes it pretty useless as an actual watch unfortunately!

Set time and within an hr the watch isn't showing the correct time anymore troubleshot all the options as the contact seller isn't a option nothing has worked poor quality wood broke easily while changing out the links as well just falls apart waste of money.

The watch is beautiful and works perfectly. Keep in mind that this is a mechanical, self-winding watch. It must be manually wound for its first use, and will probably need daily winding for all people who are not exceptionally active. Tapping on a keyboard and casual walking won't keep the watch wound. For me the main advantage of an 'automatic' mechanical watch is that it can't be over-wound, which ruins the watch. If you're looking for skeleton watch that shows the clockwork's movement, and don't mind winding the watch daily then you'll love this watch. However, if you just want a watch that runs for years without winding then opt for a quartz movement; there are nice wooden watches that will accommodate your needs.
