Great piece for the buck!
Great piece! I am amazed by the texture of the textile and the contrasting colors. I like that the threads and the background are somewhat shiny. It really highlights the piece. I found a way of avoiding the framing. I wanted the piece to be exposed and to create a synergistic surrounding while some light and air touches it. So I bought Japanese Tenugui hanging rods (from Amazon) to hang it and to secure it. The rods are a bit pricy but they add some depth to the piece without compromising its pristine condition. Be careful; the one thing that the product description does not tell you is how stiff the tapestry is. It has a cardboard-like flex. So it was challenging to put the rods on it, but I made it work as you can see on the photos.

Wow! Thanks to the hands that made this beautiful embroidery, it gorgeous. The side, the embroidery are my impression because I ordered with the idea that was something simple but I definitely recommend it.
