Yardley London Scented Talc Powder, English Rose Scent, 7 Oz/ 200 g

Way back in the 90's when I lived in the ritzi part of southern California in Pacific Palisades, I discovered this lovely scented powder, in of all places, at the local hardware store! At the time they had Peach, Rose and Lavender. I loved all the scents. I like that it comes in a tin can giving out that old-timey feel. The danger I believe is using this in your private areas and also under arms as it blocks the body to breath. I've always just put it on my back and arms after a shower and I feel fresh as a peach - or rose, lol. It is hard to find the scented powder these days so I'm grateful I can still find it here on Amazon.

I still love body powder that has talc in it. Which is why I have always used Johnson's Baby Powder. But they took all the talc out of their powder. So I had to look hard to find a company that still makes a body powder with talc. And fortunately I discovered that wonderful Yardley still made body powder with talc. So I purchased it in the rose scent, and I love it! I like to apply powder after showering. The talc in the powder makes it so soft, and the scent makes me smell good!

I was using a Fleurique rose scented talcum powder I had purchased at Marshall's. Same size and I was using it daily. It lasted a couple of years. But when I went to purchase again, it was not available anywhere locally. The only place I could find Fleurique was online with very high shipping charges (from Australia). So I decided to purchase the Yardley English Rose scent talcum powder. Price was right and best of all, the scent is light and exactly what I wanted. Can't tell a difference between the Fleurique talcum powder and the Yardley talcum powder. Very happy with purchase and will buy again.

Don’t get me wrong. I love the scent and have for years! My complaint is trivial really. However, I do feel the need to write. The photo is that of a light blue powder container. I was expecting just that. Instead, I received a white powder container. I’m a bit disappointed.

Great talc powder for summer. This smells Amazing. Great for inside my chubby thighs so they don't rub together when I wear skirts.

Loved the fine texture, scent was perfect. Most liked because it was made of tal which despite some claims I prefer & believe is healthier & superior to cornstarch. Im a borderline diabetic & cornstarch feeds yeast, so I prefer talc to cornstarch to avoid an unpleasant smelly rash. I also love the old fashion tin . The product arrived on time in great shape. I will reorder.

I have been looking for a real talc NOT cornstarch based powder, and was glad to have found this product. I was disappointed with the scent though, since it did not have the genuine rose scent that I enjoy. It seemed more like a mixed floral to me. I will still enjoy using it because it is a talc product.

My mom used this her whole life, and my sisters and I want to keep the memories of her closer in our hearts and in our senses.
