Adult and child readers will learn all about plants together in this new Co-reader from National Geographic Kids. Find out how plants grow as well as the different parts of plants, seeds, and flowers. Review: great books for early readers! - i really enjoy these books! they are very pretty and educational as well as great quality. I need the whole series! Review: Great book - This is an I read you read book which I really love because the information is nice and detailed but the reading isnโt out of reach for kids. My daughter just finished kindergarten and loves these books because they have real, not cartoony, pictures and some new facts so she doesnโt feel like sheโs wasting time.

Great for basic knowledge of plants
Bought this to use as part of my kids homeschooling and they enjoyed learning about plants and doing โpopcornโ reading too. I love how it prompted when I read and when they read. It was perfect for early learner reading!

Good, worth the price, a little disappointed comparing to other images in same series.
I think this is a great little Nat Geo book for $4.99. The front page is very eye-catching and what made me buy it. The illustrations in the book are plentiful but they don't fill the whole page like some of the other ones I have just purchased in the series. I do wish they would have filled the pages on at least half of them and I don't care for the orange and dark yellow colors of the pages, they just aren't as eye-catching as a few other Nat Geo books I have where the illustrations are vivid and fill the whole page. It's still 5 stars for the illustrations, information contained in it and price but I'm annoyed with the colors and a few image choices - like the rusty buckets and city street buildings. Level is for a child who can read or pay attention to "read" along as there are quite a few words on most pages.

Educational, Fun, Love reading
This book came in perfect condition. This was one I ordered for my children's easter basket as it goes with our bulb and blossoms unit study. My 6 year old really enjoys that we take turn reading, he gets very overwhelmed with a lot of words but it spliting every other page added to the excitement for him. Pictures are wonderful easy for my 4 & 6 year old to understand. Full of informative information. I love that at the end of the chapters there is a fun review game for them. Highly recommend for a child curious about flowers or a homeschool unit study.

It's a good book for kids
It's a good book for kids. With real life images, it's nice to introduce children to the world of plants instead of showing them illustrations.
