ERTL 1/64th Bulk Pack of (25) Black Angus

These are sooooo dang cute. Very good for someone getting into 1/64 scale ranching there very solid just the baby coos are really small so definitely not for a kid who choose on stuff lol

I used these for a school project in my AG class. The quality was pretty top notch for the price. I would say if you were buying these for a similar reason or even just for your kids to play with they are great they have a cute look and the durability would hold up. Overall I would say the playability is great and the stability would be great on a farm toy set as well.

Black Angus are hard to find. Grandson was happy to have solid black cows. Small calves are very small.

They're just slightly oversized for 1/64 scale unless you consider them all bulls, but they do work well. They all appear to be bulls except for the calves. If they had a mix of cows in there that were just a little smaller then bulls then these would be fantastic. Ertl should make the set with all cows and 1 or 2 bulls per package along with several calves. A good mix would be 2 bulls: 15 cows: 8 calves

4”,X 4.3” X 1.3” must describe the packaging because the items are NOT as described in the details! I am so disappointed in the tiny pieces that arrived today…certainly not safe for a young child and not fun for an older child!!’

My herd of plastic cattle came in a plastic (polypropylene?) zip bag. The cattle plastic feels a little waxy; possibly they are also polypropylene, but they are plenty sturdy for my needs. They seem to be unpainted, and cast out of solid black plastic. I easily spray-painted these silver. My bag contained 10 alert cattle (1.75" L x 1" T x 0.5" W), 10 grazing cattle (1.75" L x 1" T x 0.5" W), and 5 calves (0.8" L x 0.5" T x 0.25" W). I am not a bovine anatomy expert, but none of these "cows" have udders, so I can only assume they are all male. Their shape does seem to conform to the photos of Black Angus, however, and they have no horns. I only gave 3 stars because what I REALLY wanted was black Texas Longhorn steers--the most frightening animals I'd ever seen, and they will just stare at you like malevolent entities from the abyss--but longhorns are very difficult to find at this scale at reasonable prices, and I needed some cattle quick.

These are not cows. The whole package is bulls with some calves. Other than that they come as described.
