Powerful, Portable, and Perfect for Any Event!
I recently used the Godox AD200Pro II at a wedding, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I unpacked it, I could tell this flash was designed with photographers in mind. The lightweight and portable design made it easy to carry around all night, and the included case with a molded fit for each part was a great bonus, keeping everything secure and organized. The battery life was incredible! It lasted through the entire event without needing a recharge, even with frequent use. The fast recycle times were a lifesaver, allowing me to capture every moment without any lag. Plus, the bright and colorful screen readouts made it easy to adjust settings on the fly, even in dimly lit areas. The components fit together seamlessly, and the bi-color LED modeling light was a game-changer for getting the perfect lighting setup. Whether you're shooting indoors or outdoors, the adjustable power from 1/512 to full makes this flash extremely versatile. Overall, the Godox AD200Pro II is a powerhouse in a compact package. Highly recommend for any photographer looking for a reliable, high-quality flash!

Best Ever Wireless Light for Off Camera Flash!!👍
The Godox AD200 Pro II is like the Swiss Army knife of flashes—it’s small, mighty, and ready to handle pretty much anything you throw at it, except maybe your coffee. This little powerhouse delivers a whopping 200Ws of light, packed into a body about the size of a beefy candy bar. It’s the perfect partner for photographers who want studio-level lighting without hauling around a piece of equipment that doubles as a gym workout. Let’s talk about its superpower: versatility. The AD200 Pro II comes with not one but two interchangeable heads, because why settle for one lighting style when you can have two? Want soft, angelic vibes? Slap on the bare bulb head for glorious omnidirectional light. Need something sharper and more intense? The fresnel head’s got your back. It’s like the Batman and Robin of light modifiers, only without the capes. But wait, there’s more! This thing is a speed demon with recycling times faster than a cheetah on an espresso binge—0.01 to 2.1 seconds, to be exact. It also supports high-speed sync (HSS) up to 1/8000s, which is nerd talk for “You can shoot in the midday sun and still freeze a running toddler mid-tantrum.” And the color stability mode ensures your photos don’t look like they were lit by a disco ball, holding steady at 5600K across all power levels. Now, let’s talk wireless magic. The Godox 2.4G X system is like having a lighting assistant you don’t have to feed. The AD200 Pro II plays nicely with all sorts of Godox gear, so you can boss it around as a master or slave unit. Want to use TTL and let your camera figure out the exposure while you sip your coffee? No problem—it’s compatible with all the big camera brands. Build-wise, this thing is tougher than a toddler on a sugar rush. It’s lightweight, sturdy, and built to survive the occasional “oops” moment. Plus, the LCD screen is big and bright, so you’re not squinting at tiny numbers like it’s a bad optometrist exam. Of course, no piece of gear is perfect. The AD200 Pro II skips the modeling light, which might leave you fumbling in the dark like a bat without sonar. And while the basic kit gets the job done, you’ll probably want to invest in some extra modifiers to really make your photos pop. Think of it like buying toppings for your pizza—it’s technically good plain, but a softbox is the pepperoni that takes it to the next level. In short, the Godox AD200 Pro II is the plucky sidekick every photographer dreams of. It’s small, clever, and packs a punch that’ll make your lighting setups shine. Whether you’re shooting weddings, portraits, or a cat that refuses to sit still, this flash is ready to light up your life—literally.

What An Upgrade
The AD200 Pro II is a culmination of years of wanting a unit to replace the earlier game changing AD200. I have a boatload of GODOX products but when I'm shooting an event, my go to is the Godox AD200. Now, the new AD200 Pro II has given me a flexibility I never had with the earlier model. Not only can I still have the flexibility of the bulb unit, the built-in multi-temperature LED's take me to the next level. I can use the LED ring light for mobile video at events where I'm shooting candids and doing on the spot quickie interviews or just use it for providing the light I need for the autofocus on the camera to give me the best focus possible. I can also pair the unit up with the Godox flexible rubber screen protector and stand which I can use as a fill light that I place where I want for various lighting setups or fill needs. But the real game changer is the new PB 960 Godox battery access port that allows me to use that battery externally in conjunction with the regular Godox AD200 Pro II rechargeable battery. More full or half power shots than before which was more than I used on a regular basis anyway. I also love the fact that I can use a dummy battery connector that can be connected to an external 99W V-Mount battery for another power source option. The cable plugs into the D-TAP port on the battery. Get them all if you can. You won't regret it. P.S. As most of us professionals do, I improvised a reflector accessory (with a rubber band) onto my AD200 Pro II so that I can use it vertically to reflect light when I'm shooting in candid event mode. It's Jerri-rigged but it works.

Tiny, versatile, (reasonably) powerful
This has been a truly invaluable addition to my portable lighting setup. I can't really oversell this light; the fact that it provides ~500 full power shots per charge, has super fast recycle times, and provides the flexibility of both a bare bulb and high output flash head in one compact body is pretty spectacular. That it does all those things with an internal li-ion battery for $300 is nothing short of astounding. Likewise, its ability to provide high speed sync (HSS) has made it so easy to get good-looking wide open aperture shots with flash during full daylight. (It really is quite feature rich.) In any case, I've been very pleased using this light. My first outing with it was actually for a prom photo booth; I mixed this light with another lower-output flash for some easy dramatic lighting (30 inch beauty dish with shower cap diffuser) and it performed like a champ for well over 300 shots without the battery indicator even dipping. Granted, shots ranged from 1/16 to 1/4 power, but I've also used it for outdoor shooting at 1/1 and the battery life is still pretty robust; I haven't yet pushed it to 500 full power shots, but it doesn't sound at all far fetched given what I've experienced thus far. Additionally, the lack of battery cables and the more compact form factor (vs. something like the older Godox AD180/360) make this light a dream to set up. One small gripe I have (and it's very small) is that its thickness makes it a bit of a squeeze to get this light into a Bowens mount. That said, it does fit, just with a little more finessing than I'd like. Overall, there's not much to complain about. The overwhelmingly positive reviews on YouTube for this light totally make sense, and every location portrait photographer should be pleased with the capability and performance this flash offers. Now if Godox could just provide a flash trigger with HSS support that works for Fuji and Olympus so I could stop jerry-rigging trigger solutions I'd really be psyched!

The BEST Choice for the Real Estate Photographer.
Great portable strobe that is ideal for real estate photography. I have the Nicephoto Nflash 680. It works great too but it's super bulky and doesn't communicate directly with my Godox flash triggers such as the R2 and the XT32. This one does. Here's the cool thing: I use the R2 trigger on my Sony a6000 and leave it set to 1/128th. I also have an XT32 trigger. Now when I use the XT32 to adjust the power and then remotely trigger the the camera (wirelessly with a wireless trigger or via the WIFI app)...instead of this flash shooting off at the 1/128th that the R2 trigger on the camera is set at...the flash triggers off at whatever setting I last called on via the XT32 trigger in my pocket. This means I can set the camera up in a corner of a room, walk into the next room that needs to be flashed further back in the scene, adjust the power of the flash on the fly wirelessly away from the camera, and trigger the whole thing and the flash output it whatever it was when I arrived at my hiding spot around the corner. Also, if you double-tap the center button on the XT32, it will turn off whatever "group" you are controlling with that trigger. So if this ad200 flash is assigned to "Group A" and I am controlling Group A via the XT32...I can just double-tap that center button to turn the ad200 off. How is this an advantage? Well I use a flash/ambient Photoshop composite blend workflow in my business. Essentially I shoot a flash image and an all-ambient image and then layer them and blend them together to taste in post. So I'm always needing to turn my ad200 on and off and on and off as I switch from taking the flashed shot to the ambient shot. This whole setup allows me to do that seamlessly in a way I couldn't with my larger Nflash. So yeah...I'm loving this new gizmo.

Worth the money guys
I love it, the batery life is amazing. Used it all night with model light on and at the end of the night batery was at 45%. I use all the time at the beach it handle harsh weather well. Worth the money. Perfect size. Flash power plenty amd fits easily in camera bag. Be.mindful witht the modifier to not block its fan for cooling.

Power and Flexibility in a small package
I love these little guys. I have been a photographer for more than 45 years and I no longer have sync cables, extension cords and power packs decorating the floor of my studio. The Pro Mark II is awesome. The WB29A has plenty of of power and will last through most shoots on a daily basis but now I can attach a BP960 Lithium Battery pack and not worry about ever running out of juice. Light, powerful, with a bevy of attachments and accessories. The lighted group indicator on the unit and the ability to dial power all the way down to 1/512th in 1/10 increments makes this a tool that will not soon be replaced. I could go on for days talking about the advantages of these monolights but, the best way to experience them it to purchase one and put it to the test. You will not be dissatisfied with the results and will be looking for ways to purchase additional units. Did I mention that I have six (6) of these guys. Highly recommended.

My greatest buy this year
I am a professional photographer and although I have not many years of experience, I can say that I have worked with some brands of lights. This flash has been so great and I am so happy to have it. It does have some problems, but lets start with the good things: 1. The portability is so good, its not so heavy (even with the battery) and it has a beautiful case 2. It has two flash heads that can easily give you different light 3. The battery is so good, it last forever (have not been able to tell you how many shots at full power though) 4. Great modifiers that are sold separately 5. If you have other Godox products with wifi capabilities, you have a beautiful ecosystem 6. Great price for the product that it is 7. Digital display is easy to read and it has a back light that can be turn on or off This product does have its problems, and I will try to put some of them here: 1. The Godox support and troubleshooting is not good, even the user manual is incomplete. I had a problem where I bought a X1C-T Wireless Remote Flash Transmitter (same brand) and the flash didn't sync with the transmitter. The problem was a configuration (very hidden) that it was not specified in the manual. Before I could make it work, I sent them an email asking what could be the problem and it has not been answered. Also, even though I tried to find out about my problem in the internet (youtube, google, etc), I could not find anything about it. I was lucky to fix it. 2. It does not work with Youngnuo RF-603 triggers. I assumed that it was usable with any trigger because it does have a miniplug slave connector, but I was wrong. At the moment I connected the plug to the flash, the triggers stopped working. You do need to have a Godox trigger (or at least, it seems that way, I have not tried other brands) 3. Even though I really don't mind, the product is plastic and it does seem a little fragile, if that is a problem for you (specially the included bracket), then maybe consider other brands, but it will be expensive. 4. Additional configuration is a little hidden, and like I said in the first point, the manual is not complete, so you will not find all the options that the flash has. 5. Although this problem is easily fixable, the flash has a turn off timer, and if the flash shuts down, it won't start with the trigger, you will have to turn off and on the flash switch.

Riktigt trevlig liten blixt
Helt underbar liten blixt.
