how thick is it? as thick as a quilt?

Not as thick as a quilt. It's a thin cotton blanket, not super thin though. We use it under a thick blanket in the winter, and alone with just a sheet in the summer.

Does this blanket shed/pill alot after washing and drying? Thanks to all who respond!

This blanket did not shed or pill AT ALL after machine washing and drying prior to using it on my bed.

What are the dimensions of the King size blanket?

Dimensions and size of twin is 90 x 108 inches. Over sized to accommodate natural shrinkage of cotton. This is what it says about a twin, not a king. I'm not sure what the exact size is, maybe the above is a typo. I have been reading reviews to get measurements and visuals of what this looks like on a king.
