This is a game changer for silent reflux. I no longer always have to clear my throat and have so much less phlegm. Give it a little time to work so those inflamed tissues can heal. Cuts burps way down too. It’s good for personal comfort but also for the social aspect of reflux which doesn’t get talked about. I have zero side effects and use it often. I think it’s gel form is a little weird but no stranger than sports gel electrolytes for example. I think vanilla caramel is the best flavor. Very tolerable no problem and I keep it with me now for all occasions. I do wish it weren’t as expensive but it’s what’s out there. Hope this helps someone. Thanks for a great product.

This product works! The taste is not terrible, nice flavor, although it does have a somewhat salty taste. I take this before bed as recommended by my gastroenterologist and it seems to be helping with nighttime reflux. I have the mint flavor as well.

Works better than pills. The only disadvantage is that it has to be the LAST thing eaten or drunk. Take a drink from a water fountain, you have to take it again. Handful of peanuts? You have to take it again. And it's EXPENSIVE. But it WORKS! I can go to sleep after taking it, and there is no more reflux at night! It's not a matter of blocking acid reflux -- it blocks that feeling like things are trying to come back. It also blocks something called "Silent Reflux" == fluids that reflux that you don't even know are there! I'm using this stuff after my larynx got cut up, and IT GENUINELY WORKS!

Great product for nighttime acid reflux. Better than anything I’ve tried! Tastes really good. The only thing that is a bit annoying is it dries my throat out so much I can barely swallow my saliva or post nasal drip. I can get a drink if needed and take more later in the night as directed but it can be uncomfortable. I like that it’s all natural ingredients.

I bought this after trying Reflux Raft and wondering whether I had accidentally paid premium money for lightly flavored optimism. Reflux Gourmet is a completely different experience. The Vanilla Caramel flavor is actually pleasant, the texture feels substantial, and most importantly, it feels like I’m taking an actual alginate product instead of participating in a very expensive placebo-themed dessert. With Reflux Raft, I kept waiting for the “raft” part. With this, at least the boat appears to have shown up. Obviously everyone’s reflux situation is different, but for me this has been noticeably more useful and feels like a much better value for what I’m actually trying to accomplish. Five stars. Reflux Gourmet brought the raft. The other company mostly brought the invoice.

**Thorough Review** Flavor: Vanilla Caramel (DELIC!) As a long time GERD / silent reflux sufferer, I cannot believe I’ve never heard of this! As I was scrolling online, reading threads, looking for suggestions to my pain, someone mentioned this product. After doing some of my own research, I very much appreciated the natural aspects of it as opposed to all of the PPI or H2 blockers I’ve been on for years. I mostly take RG at night before bed and it’s been a life saver! I used to take other medications and wake up, sometimes multiple times a night, in such upper GI pain that I couldn’t sleep the rest of the night. Then the following day I’m wiped-so on and so forth- as such this has been a miracle! So much so, that my husband, a habitual PM tums user, has started taking my RG! At first I raised an eyebrow at price point, but my usage of only 1tsp, a handful days a week, has lasted me 4 months. I purchased in April and am now re-ordering in August. I wanted to wait and do a full review once I had the product long enough. As such, the price isn’t an issue. I also don’t find the sugar to be a personal issue- only 3mg / 1tsp, isn’t that much. I happen to find the flavor rich & delicious- I look at it as my dessert before bedtime😋 Happy consumer! Would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It worked okay for for a little time but eventually the reflux still happens so not a permanent fix. I would need to see what other options are out there.

Delicious and it works well! I have had night time reflux for years, and I wish I could say this was a cure, but unfortunately it won’t completely replace my Pepcid. It naturally wears off after 4 hours, which isn’t the product’s fault, since that’s just how the body breaks it down. But it’s a great addition, and I am hoping I can cut back ti a lower dose of Pepcid soon. If I was using it for daytime reflux, I’d probably give it 5 stars.

Tastes nice. But had no lasting effect on my reflux

I regularly buy this product and it is normally great. However just opened a new tube and the contents looks and tastes a bit different to usual. I am therefore a bit concerned about using this tube. Especially as it is taken by my 5 year old for her ongoing reflux.
