Nope. Pretty standard procedure on all blades I have bought. Keeps rust away you know... Toxic oil? Wow. Maybe you need a manicure after handling the blades!

I don't know for sure about your knife but under the description of the blades I bought for my knife it said that they Fit most standard utility knives.-.024'' thickness
