I bought this as a substitute for a white board—I struggle to keep track of some financial things with my husband in digital form, so having a scribble board that can be erased makes it worth the purchase. I love how crisp the writing is on this board, so I can write as tiny as I can—I’m not sacrificing anything with this board. From a portability perspective, it is nice to have on the fridge, but I have found it helpful just as a desktop item for me. I never find myself making accidental marks—the pressure sensitivity is just right to keep mistakes from happening. The erasing is instant, but since you use the stylus to erase, you’re not likely to do it by accident. I would love to have a couple more around just for some of my other thoughts!

We used this as a reminder noteboard for less than a year. It worked great for most of that time until the battery died. We have been completely unable to replace the battery inside since as we can't open the tiny battery compartment. Even with a tiny screwdriver, we cannot get the screw out as it is crazy tight and will not budge. So at this point, the product is now useless as the screen will not erase and the dead battery is stuck inside.

It does what I need it to do. Writes smoothly and easily and erases cleanly and quickly. I wish it was a little bigger and the kickstand in the back does not stay locked in place when you don’t want to use it so every time I pick it up it’s dangling and a little annoying (I’m just going to tape it down). I also wish there was a way to erase a mistake and not the entire screen. Otherwise, really good product for the price.

My children have some cheap imitations, and I have been using one throughout my work day to draw diagrams and help explain things at work. I used to have a dry erase board in my work office, and I do not have one in my home office. This little board from Boogie Board is far superior than the imitations out there. The lines are more crisp and the surface is more sensative to pressure changes which help with making lines thicker or thinner. I gravitated to this one based on the small stand and magnets. In the future, I may get one of the other ones with an optional case for travel. I like the quick, dispensable notes and distinct contrast of the screen. If you are on the fence, maybe try this one first before a big one. The quality is far better than imitations.

it might be perfect for shopping list on your frige, but if you want to use it for a writing tablet, it is bit too small, as you can see on my photo. It is very well made and study, but the letters are not bright enough.

I used a kid’s boogie board toy recently and loved it so much. I decided it would be a good fit to communicate quick notes to the rest of my family. I bought this one because it comes with a magnet and I planned for it to live on my fridge. However, the magnet was not strong enough and the board just slid right off my fridge. The color of the screen also affected the visibility of the writing (maybe this screen needs a less fine tip pen, as well). With both of these issues, I chose to return and I’ll buy one that’s not quite as aesthetically pleasing but is more functional for my needs. (Also: the corner clear button is wood, not gold! From the pictures, I assumed a metallic gold.)

this little thing is so cool if you’re looking for something that’s easy to make your daily lists .. my only complaint is that if you keep your hand on it when writing or something touches it, it can sometimes leave little marks all over it. And i accidentally erase my entire list sometimes by having the eraser part of the pen just a little too close to the corner, but honestly i really like it! It really helps me to stay on track for my day

Arrived with markings all over the screen. The button to clear the screen did not work. Useless. The Amazon returns policy is also incredibly frustrating when you are having to ship the item overseas, they should offer a courier service.

Plus is magnetic pen. Simple and neat. Is was smaller then I expected.

The older boogie board jot seems to have a darker screen and brighter writing, so much better contrast and a lot easier to read. The screen on this newer version doesn’t seem to be as black and the writing is fuzzy rather than sharp like the old version.

I received a faulty board, it wouldn't erase. Returned.
