HEADLINE Alone in the Dark (The Cincinnati Series Book 2)

This is not Rose's best book (I have read several). The plot was boring and dull, the whole book seemed to focus on an inappropriate relationship between a detective and a potential murder suspect and the end was predictable. Rose seems to also have a total obsession with endless sex scenes which bordered on pornographic. I will not buy such rubbish from this author again.

Disappointing book, took me 2 months to get to the end of it, it is way too long and by then I really didn't care that much.There is SO MUCH repetition and I am not even counting all the tedious sex scenes.Karen Rose is getting steadily worse which is a shame as I have read all her books since the first one, in chronological order.

Get a lot, I mean a lot, of characters split into 3 categories, the good, the bad and the cops and fill 750 pages on how they all kill each other in the most blood thirsty way possible. The few characters left in the end look a little forelorn as the story is not finished.

Loved this book....it held me right till the end - adore all the characters and am looking forward to reading the next Cincinnati series book!
