Dental Fresh Water Additive for Dogs, Original Formula, 64oz – Dog Breath Freshener and Dog Teeth Cleaning for Dog Dental Care– Add to Water

This is the best water additive. I won't use just any water additive. Some have bad ingredients. Research it. This one also was good with my vet. I've been using it for my dogs for years. Be sure to use the correct amount according to the directions. I've never had to have teeth cleaning for my dogs. No tartar. Nice teeth. My oldest dog is almost 16 and has great teeth. I've got cats now and I put it in their water too. Cats tend to get bad teeth so I'm glad this additive is available. I've read some other reviews that say they got smelly bottles. I never have. Don't buy this in a pet store. Things sit on the shelf too long. It's cheaper here anyway. I can't say enough good things about this product.

It cleans teeth and prevents bad breath in dogs.

I bought a couple of the 8 ounce bottles since they were cheap add ons to give it a shot. My cat is almost 10 years old and recently his breath has been extra stinky. After battling him to inspect his mouth I noticed the gums around his back teeth were red and inflamed. I've also been battling feline acne around the sides of his mouth and on his chin for just about forever. I put the dental fresh in with his water and literally as soon as I set it down on the floor he came running and drank a bunch. He has been drinking it like crazy and seems to like the taste. He actually gets excited when I change his water now and will come running to drink it when it is fresh. Anyway 2 weeks later his breath is 100% better. There is no offensive odor even when he has his face near mine and yawns or cleans himself (used to smell so bad when he cleaned himself). His back teeth are looking a little less yellow and nasty too. The feline acne has really cleared up on his chin and is almost gone on the sides.. just a small bit is left on the sides of his mouth and seems to be quickly clearing up. This product has been a real life saver and money saver because plan b was to take him to the vet if this didn't work. He hates the vet and car rides so I'm sure he is as happy as I am about this working.. As soon as I get through these 2 bottles I'm getting him a gallon jug of this stuff.

This definitely helps cut down on my 3 Golden Retrievers' bad breath problem It does NOT keep the water fresh (IOW bowl still get slimy) and the bottles are NOT well sealed, not are they shipped in a plastic bag. I have not found a way to complain to Amazon about this issue -maybe a review will help change their packing procedure.

Product works great. Going on year 2 and her teeth staying clean and white. Only negative was how it was shipped. Very poorly wrapped and there was no protection so top was jammed down in container, literally. Will have to put in another container to dispense.

As we all know dogs have super sensitive noses. My girl Ashley hates to drink water with anything inside of it. However she drinks this mixed into her water with no problem. Its working in combination with also once weekly brushing because her breath was definitely starting to smell really strong. But after this it did make a big difference in her doggy breath.

I have purchased this product for several years. The chemical is always green in color this time. I opened a bottle and it was clear like water. Is there a problem with this?

This additive makes such a difference for my two pups. In combo with Whimzee’s dental chews, this finally solved their stinky breath issue. I also notice that when I use this, the product’s promise of no slobber scum in their water bowl holds up. I don’t need to wash their bowl everyday; a hot water rinse does the trick. My dogs do not seem to even be aware the product is in their water, or, if they do, they must like the taste, because they drink as much water as they did before. We did use a different product before that the dogs clearly could taste and didn’t like because they wouldn’t drink water with it. All three of our dogs like this one.

Dental Fresh Original Formula works well in maintaining clean mouth, fresh breath, and tartar free teeth and gums. I would recommend vet dental cleaning first, and then you can maintain it with this product.
