This is the third touchless trash can I have bought (I have bought 2 small sizes, one I no longer have and this one that I still have today, and I currently also still have a big 13 gallon one), and this company (Nine Stars) is the best I have tried.My first touchless trash can, a 13 gallon Nine Stars trash can that I have had since 2009, is still going, no defects, no deterioration in the electronic performance. After owning that 13 gallon one for some time with no problems, about two years ago I decided to buy a small sized touchless trash can for the bathroom. I first purchased a small version from a different company (not Nine Stars) and though it was nice looking, it stopped working after less than a year. It was also never really great in its performance, the lid always popped up too aggressively, and then popped down too aggressively, as though the motion of opening and closing were not smooth. Then when that small trash can stopped working one day, I bought this Nine Stars small trash can, and it has worked flawlessly and nicely for almost a year now. The lid opens and closes very smoothly, not like the other one that was hyper aggressive. The one thing that I don't like that much about this trash can is its lid style... the other one was better looking, but this one doesn't look bad, and with its better performance, I am very happy with it. This trash can has a nice shape overall, as it fits into corner areas in the bathroom very snugly. I use a very thin clear plastic trash bag to protect the interior of the trash can. When I have to empty the trash can I just lift the plastic bag out and put in a new plastic bag. But do note you have to use those very thin, clear plastic trash bags, not the thicker white or black plastic trash bags. Overall I would definitely recommend this product.

These are killer garbage cans! Fits right in between the toilet and a little shelf that I have, everything goes in it with just the wave of the hand. I never have any plumbing problems, and for the price! I've had one for seven years it still this works perfectly.I like wet wipes I don't know how we ever lived without them, but it doesn't matter what it says on the package don't flush them down the toilet!!! This unit works perfectly for that sort of thing. I use the liner inside of the liner. The plastic bags that come from the meat department at Costco fit perfectly! I contacted the company and asked them to come up with their own plastic liners for this can. I called the company and talked to a really nice girl there to let her know that would be nice if there was a plastic bag that actually fit perfectly inside the liner, they seemed completely unaware of how many people were using these in bathrooms and for diapers, I just bought my second one I think the great. I asked if they start producing them in different colors and just to be fair I asked Costco they start selling the bags I haven't gotten a response for that

For the price, this infrared touchless trash can can't be beat. We purchased this for baby diapers, and it works great for this purpose. The initial setup was a little confusing (mostly because I put in a battery with little remaining charge). So... I would recommend busting out a brand new D battery for this bad boy just to make sure it operates properly. It only uses one D battery, which goes in under the bin inside the can. It operates smoothly and is pretty quiet. It looks very nice, and the steel is similar to the stuff they use on stainless steel appliances. The bin inside is black plastic and has a handle that can be pulled up to assist in lifting out of the can. One final note, there is no way to plug this into the wall, you must use a battery for operation.Pros: inexpensive, stylish, hands-free, compactCons: uses D battery

me gusto mucho pero yo necesitaba una mas grande no pude usar el automatico por que no teneia baterias pero en general todo se veia de buan calidad, lo unoc que les recomiendo es que consideren que las medidas de adentro son mucho menores de las de afuera trae un bote interno una botella de pet de 2 litros no cabe en el bote. es ideal para espacion pequeños y basura sin tanto bolumen. pero lo recomendo

Nice trash can. Works well. Love the hands free and size. However, I am using it as a compose bin and I find that the opening is small plus it is under my kitchen sink so it does not always automatically close. Sometimes it is difficult to fix the garbage bag in order for it to sit well in the bin

Great product! Purchased 3 of this for each toilet in our house at the start of all these craziness pandemic in Australia and it didnt really take that long to recieve the items as well. And it is amazing we do not have to touch the bin everytime except when changing the liner. Highly recommended.

Funcional y pareciera que no le cabe mucho pero es engañoso estéticamente bastante bonito, solo tiene un led que está parpadeando cada ratito no llega a ser molesto.Por sus dimensiones es óptimo como basurero para el baño, pero no para la cocina
