Slow
I liked the size of the screen, I liked the choice of colours and that it arrives with a protective screen. I don't like that it is slow compared to other smartphones.

Really good value.
I've had this phone for a couple of months and so far I'm absolutely delighted.I had never heard of Blackview but they appear to make very reputable "rugged" phones so I thought I give them a try.The A60 Pro comes nicely boxed, with a silicon case and a screen protector (already applied). The phone is unlocked and as far as I'm aware, works with most major carriers. It can take two sim cards. You just remove the back to insert them. There's a little slot in the bottom right corner of the phone ...just put your thumbnail in and pull the casing apart. I have seen reviewers complaining that their sims aren't recognised when they insert them.....If you read the info in the specs section above, it tells you that the card will be recognised after you reboot. I spent 20 frustrating minutes trying to work out why it wasn't working before I realised you have to turn it off an on again! You can pop an sd card in to expand the memory. I put a 16 gb card in mine but it will take up to 256gb...The screen is big and clear and fine for watching videos on. The speaker is average quality, but loud enough. The sound is actually very good when you listen through your headphones.I'm not a gamer so I can't give much insight into that aspect of performance I'm afraid. It has Google Play, so you can download all your favourite android apps , and it doesn't come with a load of battery draining bloatware.Browsing is great, everything seems to load up fine. I use the Cake browser and it works really well...very smooth. The camera is not outstanding, but it is still very good, and exceeded my expectations in respect of the price. The battery has been a pleasant surprise ...It lasts a lot longer than anything I've had before. So far I've been charging it overnight and it lasts all day and well into the evening.4g works well as does bluetooth. Now for the only drawback.... It says it comes with Android 9, and so it does, but it seems to be a very basic version. For instance there was no app drawer on my phone... I got round this however, by installing a launcher from Google Play. "Gestures", a major feature of Android Pie seems very limited in this version.I have tried to get information on this from the seller and the manufacturer but so far neither have offered an explanation.Amazon customer service ventured that not all phones use the same versions of Android operating systems, so I have come to accept that the phone definitely comes with an incomplete version of Android Pie.Nevertheless I thoroughly recommend the A60 Pro to anyone who is looking for a very decent budget phone. For seventy-five quid, this is an unbeatable bargain. This phone does everything my last one did, (i.e. make calls, send texts, take photos and buy stuff from Amazon!) but at a fraction of the cost.Because it's unlocked I can use a sim only plan with my provider and that works out very cheap.I'm very happy!

Updated review of Blackview A60 Pro
Blackview A60 Pro - Dual SIM phone**UPDATED REVIEW**As my original review shows (below), I was very tempted to send this phone back for a refund initially, but I'm very glad that I didn't. Having decided to start using it and experiment with trying to work out how to use the many features, I have to say that I'm now very impressed with it. In fact, I like it so much that I've recommended it to my brother and niece and they've both ordered one for themselves.I've increased my rating to four stars, only dropping one star because of the limited access to instructions that I feel are likely to be needed by those who've never owned a smartphone before. Since my last Android phone (on 4.1 Jelly Bean) a few years ago I've had a Windows Lumia 640 Dual SIM phone that I like very much, but I reluctantly decided to move back to Android now that support for the Windows format is rapidly declining. One of the most useful features that I've not had before is the fingerprint recognition that avoids the need to enter a PIN every time I need to access the locked screen. For security reasons, I don't like to leave the phone open all the time so this is very convenient and works well. Some of the disappointments after the Windows Lumia experience have started to disappear as I've gradually discovered ways around them and the extended range of useful apps is helping to compensate.I like the fact that this phone arrived with a screen protector already fitted and a soft plastic case is included to provide good protection for the phone body.Of the phones I looked at, the Blackview A60 Pro specification impressed me by having slots for two SIMs and an SD card, whereas many others have only two slots for either two SIMs or one SIM and an SD card.Overall, I think this phone is good value for money.ORIGINAL REVIEW: There are no operating instructions with this phone so I'm hesitant to start using it by trial and error in case I end up not being able to use it fully and need to send it back. I fear that Amazon may then refuse to give me a full refund because the phone has been used. I've sent an email to the manufacturers but no reply yet. There is a small booklet in the box with limited information in multiple languages, but information is limited to labels of the external buttons etc. and a labelled illustration to show where the 3 cards should be inserted, although there are no instructions on how to remove the back! I've searched the internet for downloadable instructions but found none.

a good phone after tweaking
I wasn't sure if I would keep this phone at first but I'm now pleased with it. The location was turning itself on in the background continuously but I found that if kept turning it off it seemed to learn quite quickly to stop doing it. I don't like having the google search bar on the home screen and it can't be removed with android 9. I fixed the problem by downloading lawnchair launcher which lets you remove it. If you choose a photo for wallpaper (homescreen or lockscreen) the picture is off centre but can be fixed by turning off scrolling in settings. Also I thought the pictures don't look as nice as they do on the blackview A30 which uses android 8.1, I had to tweak them with inshot photo app and they look good now. The battery life is awesome, it seems to last forever without charging. The large screen is excellent for photos and videos. I installed a 64gb tif card so have more storage than I'll ever need, and I could increase it with a larger card anyway. I haven't used the fingerprint or face unlock. The phone arrived in good time and the seller responded quickly to my concerns, offering to refund/replace the phone if I wished. Most people who want a budget phone would be very pleased with this one out of the box. Anyone else like me who is a bit techy can easily adjust it to their liking.
