The first bottle had capsules with dark oil in them which is to be expected. The second bottle has clear oil. I opened a capsule of each. Dark oil has the expected bite. The clear oil is tasteless. Something is amiss. I'm afraid someone has been duped along the way of manufacture. I did send my concern to the company and was assured they use the highest standards. Since I do not know just what is in these capsules, I will trash them.

The capsules I received are not the same as they have been in the past,& do not work the same as before!I am very disappointed that they are not using the same as before!Now I have to find another product that I can use! As you can see in the picture they are not the same!

First few bottles were rancid smelling making me think it was cosmetic grade MCT. Seller reached out and sent a replacement bottle which was appreciated however, seal was unsealed. Also note ingredients "from coconut AND/OR PALM OIL" meaning... this item could very well be 100% palm MCT oil which are usually processed with solvents and lead to odors.Seller assured this was legit MCT oil and seal was fine but I'm unsure if they're more for reviews vs actually delivering a solid MCT oil such as others. Good prices, but not the best.Haven't tried the pure C8 oil but I'm sure these are probably all the same oils and/or sourced from palm oil hence lower prices vs coconut MCT oil, but I could be wrong for the pure C8 product? Someone who's familiar with MCTs, please try the C8 and lmk

I decided to try this because I was interested in an alternative source of omega-3's since Costco has discontinued my favorite. I added this on top of the last of my fish oil pills from Costco. I wasn't really expecting much since I'm already taking all these anti-inflammatories and omega-3's . But lately I've noticed that my joints have stopped hurting. Usually they hurt whenever it rains and since it's pretty mild I ignore the whole thing. But for the last week it's been raining on and off and not a peep from any of my joints . How odd, my joints have been hurting since I was a kid and sprained my ankle and it's only spread from one joint to all of my joints as I've gotten older. I know that omega-3 oils can be anti-inflammatories and reduce pain. but I've tried to take as many as 13 fish oil capsules trying to reach the therapeutic dose and it wasn't this effective on arthritis. I'm pretty impressed with this oil.This is a great alternative, especially for those of you who may be sensitive to fish. I am a forgetful person. But it's hard to forget the black seed oil supplements because if it rains, my joints start hurting, and then I remember to take them again. Once I take them again my joints stop hurting . I would call this an essential supplement.Update: I have have mild diabetes, it is controlled by a strict diet. But like everyone, I go over sometimes and when I do my arthritis lets me know all about it. It is in fact, much more reliable than the glucose meter. Recently, I've been trying to detox (I've got a weird complication from one of my medical conditions - it leaves grayish-green stuff under my skin). For detox - I'm taking every antioxidant I can think of especially this black seed oil. I don't have too many fat-based antioxidants. I've also added an infrared sauna. The detox is going but.... when my glucose went up high, I could not feel a thing. Not a thing. Now all the things I do for detox helps reduce inflammation but this is ridiculous.Was it the black seed oil? I don't think so, I've found fish oil, vitamin D (all my fat-based anti-oxidants) are all helpful. But even if it was only one of the players, knocking out the inflammation from glucose reads deep in the red zone is IMPRESSIVE.But I will submit this to Healthy Fats customer service -- are you ready for Subscribe and Save? I just got this oil, I searched for MCT oil with lauric acid, found this with lauric acid in the title and ordered. I just got it and it is C8 and C10 only, not the C12 lauric acid. I didn't know C12 was the lauric, so I just took the word of the title. After doing more research this product clearly doesn't have lauric acid like the title says. This honestly seems like pretty decent MCT oil, although they use palm, that doesn't really bother me, it's just the false title that lead me to buy this. Shame, shame, shame.

Excellent MCT oil. I have been trying 5 different MCT in 6month and this one is far better for hunger control with Keto diet. The only thing I don’t like is that the oil doesn’t comes out cleanly from the spout. The oil run down on the bottle and on the counter every time I used it. I don’t know if design of the cap is not good or? But all other five MCT oil I’ve try had same problem. I wish they can include pump spout with this product.

We began using this yesterday, switching from another MCT Oil. Purchased it because of the C8 %. It mixes very well in my protein shake, is silky smooth and provides all the benefits of a MCT Oil. Great product.
