I installed the new fuel pump and the engine wouldn't run but I thought maybe I had other issues. After spending a few weeks on vacation then spending many days troubleshooting I realized that this pump was defective...about a week too late to return it. After buying another pump and disassembling and inspecting, what I discovered is that the center outlet had not been drilled through allowing fuel to come out of both outlets. I drilled it out with a 1/8 drill bit and it should work now, but wow, I spend hours and days troubleshooting.
