Got this on the tail end of winter and wore all spring. Good value, flattering, and comes in tall sizes which is a rare find for a vest.Label picks right off with a few snipped threads.

Stylish lightweight vest, perfect for layering under a shell or heavier coat as it isn't bulky. With most things from this brand I'm a medium but their small jackets and vests fit me better. The long tail keeps the wind from going up your back, the high collar keeps it from blowing down your neck. Oh - and it has FIVE pockets, two secured with zippers so your cellphone and wallet are kept on your person, the other pockets have a snap to keep them loosely closed. Great vest, and Carhartt steps up their wear into something stylish and for the hiker or trekker.

Everything from the fit for length as a person tall in my upper body, vests are tough to come by that fit properly even with “tall” sizes. This one does it all without making it more bulky and the adjustable bottom is a perk I didn’t know I needed as well! It’s light weight for everyday wear but warm enough for all outdoor needs! Just can’t say enough good bout this product. Price is worth it!

I bought this vest for my husband for Christmas. The vest fits nicely, except it kicks out at the bottom in the back when he wears it. (That's what I dislike the most.) Most of his problems with the vest involve the openings to the pockets which are hard for him to get into if there is anything in his hand to put into the pocket. I think the openings are a little small for a larger man. He says the fabric is a little slick! (I fear all remarks are tainted by his previous vest, which he liked very much and left somewhere. Next year I will get him sticks!)

I love this vest. In fact I wear it almost every day! It’s rugged and durable but comfortable and functional. I love the various pockets (5 total). I have stuff in every one of them too! It is even water proof. That means when I spill coffee, mustard or splatter paint on myself it wipes off clean… plus rain protection… but it’s a vest so your arms will get wet. It was pricy but my favorite vest, and mild weather outerwear.

Nice light vest. A little pricey compared to some other similiar garments. Sheds water a bit so far so good. Not as warm as something heavier but still works.I have an older one, same size-XL tall, this is a little better (thicker fabric, softer collar) but maybe a size larger, an inch or so longer. Weird but true, still seems like a good buy. The older one is very well made, worn it cutting wood, doing some heavy duty stuff outside, it shows a little wear but not as much as it should.

This is my second Carhartt rain defender vest. Incredible quality. I wore my previous one to work for 7 years until the zipper failed. It's light and comfortable also a windbreaker

The vest fits good. I ordered X-Large tall.

El chaleco esta genial, los materiales se ven de excelente calidad, es ligero (no te calentará para fríos considerables) y para lloviznas. La mediana me quedo a la perfección, tengo complexión entre M y L.

La tela resistente, diseño, tamaño etc… en fin, que lo volvería a comprar sin dudarlo.

Carhartt sizing charts are not synonymous with other brands of clothing. Everything fits way too big or way too small. I dont reccomend buying Carhartt stuff online, better in store where you can actually try it on.
