This is a great tool when spot welding
I wish I had found these earlier in my life, the backing allows a much better weld than without using these.

Works well when there is easy access for it. Does not work in all situations.

If you are plug-welding body seams this tool is a must. Saves a lot of time.

Nylock.. . Really?
Worked as advertised but whoever had the not-so bright idea to put a Teflon locknut on a product used for welding needs to take a refresher course on how heat transfer through metals.

A must for plug welding
I use these quite a bit for my restoration hobby. I don’t own any other plug welding pliers so I can’t compare them but they seem to work fine.
