I’ve used the heavy duty plastic bag type mattress covers. They protect the mattress from dirt and moisture just fine. Here is why you should spend the extra $20 on this one:It zips all the way around the mattress. Open it up, slip one side under, place the other half on top and zip! Much easier!Handles! Two gals wrestled an unruly queen sized memory foam mattress out of a a bedroom, down a narrow hallway, zigged and zagged it to the front door and down a steep, narrow flight of stairs and into the back of a pickup then unloaded it with similar process at the other end. Was it easy? Nope. But it was possible! Without the handles I’m not sure how or if we would have been able to do that! Well worth the 30 bucks.However, the thing is not bulletproof. Handles were super sturdy but fabric did tear in one spot ( repaired with duct tape). Still, such an otherwise great product I’m giving it 5 stars anyway because I can’t give it 4 1/2 stars and the fabric isn’t horrible- just worth nothing that it’s not indestructible.When you are moving, all the little things add up. This is one thing that helped a lot!

This bag is great! It’s thick and so easy to put on a mattress. The handles make it so simple to carry even if you’re not a large/strong person. The long zipper is also very convenient. Would definitely purchase again if we needed another.

I purchased this mattress cover to dispose of my oldMattress. It is required in my area that the mattress have to be put in a mattress bag! It has handles and made it easy to dispose of and because of the material it was water resistant and helped as it rained the day that the trash was coming. The trash men in my area will find any reason to leave it and I believe the cover gave them no excuses. I would buy again.

This mattress cover did great but the bottom straps ripped off. I have to say was able to move my Purple mattress without any damage or getting it dirty. That I can appreciate.

Getting to the end of us moving we were down right tired. We looked at our made bed and decided, might as well try. Zipped our made bed up In this cover and it kept everything together to our surprise. We had storage units so this helped keep dust, bugs, and other things from getting to the mattress. Also the handles made it very easy to move. I 100% recommend this moving mattress cover.
