Small 7.5 inch Adjustable tripod with accessories
As I do quite a bit of Mountain Biking and enjoy making short video's to put upon my blog of my adventures I was in need of a new tripod. Thing is I needed something small, light, adjustable & pretty durable. I wanted something I could use for my GoPro mainly, so that I could capture shots from fairly low down on the ground, or possibly higher up by attaching to a tree branch. When the small tripod arrived it was well packaged in a rather small box. It only measures 7.5 inches, this will increase to just over 8.5/9 inches as you add either the GoPro mount or the mobile phone mount and the adjustable swivel mount which are all provided. The tripod looks to be pretty sturdy I particularly like that the legs which are covered in a sort of rubber, as in the past I have had small tripods which have had those knuckle joints and over time the knuckles wear due to dirt which accumulates and wears them, making the tripods slack and wobble all over.I didn't but the tripod for the Bluetooth remote, which came in the kit, however I was actually very surprised at the ease of connecting the remote to my mobile phone and that it worked first time flawlessly. All I did was turn on the remote by the small switch on the side, it flashed blue, then I searched for the device on my phone, using the Bluetooth scan, hey presto it connected, and I was able to take a photo using my camera and the remote.Having just received this new tripod I have not had a chance to try it out in the real world, however for £11.99 I am very happy with my purchase. It does everything I want, it's light, adjustable and small enough to fit in my backpack, plus if I lose it on the trail it won't cost me an arm and a leg to replace.

Excellent product at a good price
This is one of those products you think; "How come it is so cheap, but it is of such good quality!"The tripod legs are very flixible and have a rubber coating with a raised pattern which gives it extra grip if you want collapse the tripod legs together and carry it as a mini self-stick. The rubber on the bottom of the feet are curved smooth rubber which gives excellent anti-slip properties - even when placed on shiny surfaces like glass or plastic. The clamp for holding the phone needs opens without much force and grips your phone very well. The top and bottom inside faces of the clamp have textured surfaces to ensure your phone is held securely. Then there is soft material on the insde face of the vertical part of the clamp to ensure your phone is protected. The camera clamp can be rotated 360 degree horizontally. Using the slot, allows the camera to be positioned through 180 degree in the vertical plane.Once you have the correct position for the shot you want to take, you just tighten the thumb screw and it is locked very securely. This gives excellent flexibility in getting the right camera angle.Weight wise it is heavy enough to ensure stability, but still light enough to be carried in your hand to act as a mini selfie stick/camera holder. The flexibility of this tripod allows an array of configurations - I "hooked" mine over the top of a door to get a group photograph at a party - the remote trigger it comes with allowed me to get into the photo as well - the trigger is so small you can easly keep it in your hand to take the photo. The uses for this tripod are endless, especially as it has the remote bluetooth trigger button - one thing to note not all mobiles can be paired with the bluetooth trigger button.

It does the job, but it needs some improvement
I got this to replace my ageing (and no longer working) Jobi phone tripod, so I will be comparing it directly to that going forward.Firsts off, it comes well packaged and with some accessories: camera mount, remote shutter and phone holder; all of which have the standard 1/4 screw mount. Included is a card with the recommended app to use with the remote shutter, but after reading some reviews on Google Play, I decided not to use it.Build quality is good but unremarkable: the legs have a rubber cover which, according to the manufacturer, makes them waterproof (I haven't tested this claim) and the upper part is made out of hard and brittle-looking plastic. The rubber skin will definitely provide some protection against the elements, as well as make it easy to set up on slippery surfaces. The Jobi that this is replacing, whilst made 100% out of plastic, it felt better in the hand.Setup is fairly straight forward: choose your desired attachment, screw it in and adjust the position with the ball joint. The legs have two angles of spread which can be modified with the ring. Whilst this is a good idea, the execution is less than ideal, as the ring doesn't "click" into place, but rotates freely and is very easily moved. Also, the legs are a bit stiff and it takes a bit longer to bend into the desired shape. With that being said, once you get it set up, it's rock solid. I've bent the legs close to 90 degrees with no issues. The included remote shutter comes with batteries pre-installed (you will need to take out the separator to) and has an on/off button on the side. It is obvious that this was built to a strict budget, as the entire remote is made of cheap plastic. There are two buttons on the face of it, both serving the same function (snap photo or start/stop video). They are labelled iOS and Android with the iOS one being significantly larger than the Android button. The remote connects via Bluetooth and works without the need for a third-party app and I've noticed that on my OnePlus 5, both shutter buttons work and basically serve the same function. The entire assembly feels reasonably sturdy and will definitely hold any phone or action camera without a problem. Some poin-and-shoot cameras or even bridge cameras will be supported, but I wouldn't recommend using it with a DSLR.Final thoughts: It is unfortunate that they've cheaped out on the locking mechanism and the materials. For a phone/action cam tripod, this is more than adequate and if it's going to last as much as my old Jobi, then it is a very good investment.

Really good, does what it says!
I wasn't sure exactly whether I was buying cheap tat or something sturdy, as I don't know the brand and it was on the cheap end of the market. But it has been great so far. It doesn't feel cheap, it's perfectly sturdy enough. It came with the tripod and 3 attachments - but no instructions. But it's not hard to work out. The legs are a tad stiff, but that adds to the sturdiness, and they stay in place well. The remote worked a charm with no app or anything - I just enabled bluetooth on my phone and it spotted the remote, pairing was quick and simple, and it works straight away! It does what it says, so it's not extendable, it is best for a phone, rather than anything else heavier. The phone holder is adjustable, it holds my iPhone 6 perfectly, but always worth checking the spec for your own phone.

Versatile and sturdy with some exceptions
the plastic screw holes may snap over time if left holding something over an extended period of time. I was using mine as a headphone stand to be fair when it wasn't holding my phone. you may have to relocate the clamp to the other screw hole to continue using it. the legs are robust enough it just the connecting material that wasn't sturdy in the clamp area. It is small and lightweight and fairly versatile as long as it hasn't broken
