My second purchase of this excellent product. Just the right amount of heat to warm up the cold sheets at the foot of the bed or to relax a sore muscle. Easy to use, easy to clean. Just right!

Really like the size and especially the way the filling is in several small sections so it heats evenly rather than all in one with the filling just sloshing around like another brand I have. You do have to heat and cool this pillow several times so the moisture dissipates before you can use it, first time I heated it I hadn't read this yet in the instructions so was worried at first. But now that the moisture is gone this is great!

The only reason I didn't give it the 5th star is that it isn't wide enough. The one I use daily is filled with flax-seed - 17" - while this one is only 10.5".... That is a very big difference. The rice is as good as the flax and holds heat well. This one is good for shoulders or for smaller total area. Since they are used a lot for back pain and spasms - that extra width is much better though. My other one closes with Velcro (yikes!) and is such a nuisance as well as not reliable to stay closed and then the prickly side of Velcro hurts & scratches. This one is better designed to hold the grain and also - an adequate fold-over enclosure that is nice to work with and use - instead to buttons or Velcro. If this company makes one wider - I will purchase 2 of them also! 'pros & cons' in weighing comparisons - I would chose this one again should I need to replace any of mine. ~ Nina

These large, heavy heating pads work perfectly in our household for sciatica, muscle aches, arthritic knees/hips, heating castor oil packs, and even heating the bed on a cold night! I’ll put two of them on the bed a few minutes before turning in, then kick one down by my feet (no more cold feet!), and place the other on my any place my body aches- great for a tummy ache too. Great to cozy up and watch tv with the pack on your lap or back under a blanket. I bought two at first, then gave two as gifts, then ordered one for my neck and two more for guests to use. Everyone is happy with them. The weight is perfect for keeping the pack in place, and, like a weighted blanket, very comforting. They have held up well, and the outer sleeve is washable. Well made and sturdy, I fold one in half and microwave for 90 seconds, then take it out, flip it over so the other side gets exposed and microwave for another 90 seconds. They hold the heat for a good 20 minutes or so. I am very happy with this product. Makes an excellent gift too.

Works well, comfortable, heavy, removable cover. Very large so works on backs, wraps well.

The heating pad is as advertised. Gives the user a moist heat that helps with getting relief for those sore muscles and joints. It also doesn't have that strong odor you get with other heating mediums. Its shape makes it versatile and could fit most body areas where relief is needed. It is ideal for the older crowd and retirees.

Just what I've been needing, a heat pack that will reach from one hip to the other! Pack heats nicely in the microwave.

Very useful. It says not to put a lot of weight on it but I needed it for the back of my thigh and it worked well even when I laid on top of it. You need to microwave twice. Depends on how you want it. Worth the money. The length vans quality are great.
