Women's Newton Ridge Plus Waterproof Amped, Elk/Mountain Red, 7

I usually wear a 6.5 (TOMS) or 7 (AllBirds, Nike) depending on the brand. I sized up to a 7 based on the reviews and they fit great! I wear thicker hiking socks with them, but the key to comfort (with any boot) is all about how you tie them. I was wearing them very loose until my cousin helped me with the 'proper tying.' Do three knots: one where your ankle begins, another after the laces cross at the first part of the tongue, and the final knot + bow at the top like you're tying normal shoes. This keeps the laces tied tightly and prevents them from slipping since they are rounded and the boot is pretty padded. I bought these about a week before I left for a camping trip in Northern California. I wore them around the house but never got a chance to break them in -- they were great on the trails (5 miles round trip, some elevation) and barely needed to be broken in! Also very lightweight and the hard soles protected my feet from the rocks and tree roots along the trail.

Was looking for a great pair of hiking boots for a trip that required sooooo much time hiking in different parts environments. S pent almost my entire 4 day trip in Oregon wearing these bad boys hiking! They’re super comfortable, stylish, definitely water proof and one of the best purchases I’ve made. A popular choice of boots for so many valid reasons! Will be buying again once a go through my first pair 💗

This Southern California girl wasn't ready for snow in Canada so I quickly tried to do an Amazon search of decent shoes to trek through snow. Came up on these, listened to the reviewers and went a 1/2 size up and loved every moment wearing my cute boots. They fit so comfortably, feels very durable, but not too heavy to be able to walk in them all day. They definitely kept my feet dry on our first day in Canada as I ran around like a little kid in the city seeing snow fall for the first time. It cleared up the next few days, but still pretty chilly. These definitely kept my feet warm as we played tourist throughout the city. We went on a very easy hike as part of our trip so it's hard to say what it would be like on a more strenuous hike, but I would trust them enough. I love the natural look and they were so comfortable to wear. Pair them with some great wool socks and they'll keep you warm this winter and many more!

I was hesitant to buy boots online without trying them on first, but these boots were affordable and seemed to have good reviews. I go hiking almost every weekend, and they have far exceeded my expectations! They are extremely waterproof. I have sloshed in many creeks and never even had so much as a damp sock. The boots come out of the water completely dry. They are sturdy, comfortable, and have good grip. I typically wear between 7-7 1/2 depending on the shoe, and I chose to buy the 7 simply because they were about $10 cheaper. Sometimes my toes knock against the front of the boot when going down a steep incline, but they otherwise fit well. It definitely wouldn't hurt to go up a half size if you are worried about them being too small.

good looking boot, comfortable all over even nice padding, appears well made. ordered size 7 the fit was perfect the color is just like the picture. I can wear them with not only shorts , pants but also with a skirt and dress.

Instantly my new favorite boots. Wear a size 7 and these boots were true to size. I have wider feet and didn’t order wide, these boots were still roomy enough in toe area and easy to get on and off. Another review commented they are heavy so I was worried, these are built to provide protection in winter, but I found them lighter and more giving than my leather LL Bean boots. They are adorable and the red laces add an attractive pop of color. Great value.

UPDATE: Below was my previous review. Yesterday I summited Mt. Fuji and these boots were SO comfortable! From gravel trails, rock climbing, and multiple weather conditions, these boots did all the work! They kept my feet in tact, no rolled ankles, and very supportive. I had no blisters after my trek up and down (just a little soreness from rushing down the mountain). Overall, these were a great purchase and highly recommend these for anyone who is very much into hiking. ——————————————————— If I could, I would give these boots 10 stars. I’ve been so nervous having to go through the “break in” process after buying any new shoes, heels and boots. Today was my first day I took these out for a short 1 mile, incredibly rocky trek up a local mountain. I walked up some man made steps, dry inclines, trees, rocks and muddy inclines (semi-dry) river bed. Overall, these boots survived. After doing some research and reading the reviews, these boots were a hit or miss for some, but they’re very comfortable. They fit pretty true to size. I always differ between sizes 7-8 but size 7 was perfect for me. I can’t wait to climb Mt. Fuji with these!

Légères, stylées, ultra-confortables, pointent normales !

I bought these before we took a rainy trip to Disney. We walked over 16,000 steps per day in the rain and these boots handled it with excellence.

I wore these out on my Alaskan cruise and they were perfect. Went out a few full day excursions, walked for hours in them, some days it was raining and my feet stayed comfortable and dry. Would order again!
