Conair The Curl Collective 1875 Watt Ionic Ceramic Hair Dryer, Black, 18"

I was skeptical that a type of blowdryer could actually make wavy/curly hair behave, but this one did. Using the. diffuser and a low warm setting, I was able to make my curls much more pronounced and give my hair good volume. I like the large size of the diffuser because it allows me to dry larger sections of my hair without tangling. It can be tricky to find the right products for curly hair, but there are so many out there that you can experiment with them to find what's best for you using this hair dryer. It is so much less expensive than the high-end dryers yet it gets the job done!

my old revlon hair dryer that i'd had since college (2010--the model is still available on amazon, lol) started dying, so i was looking for a reasonable upgrade as replacement.the diffuser (wavy & curly) looked the best after my 2 hours of shopping and reading reviews; my first use and i'm already happy! i love the deep bowl shape and that ultimately led me to buying the exclusively compatible hair dryer.i had considered buying one of the universal diffusers and a separate hair dryer, but all the other dryers i liked were just outside the diameters of the diffuser and it seemed too risky. i am glad i chose this conair dryer with its compatible diffuser: the dryer is small but powerful without being too much, and i found each heat setting matched its description. the diffuser collects and lifts all if my hair better than the old revlon one that came with the dryer, and i did find it to produce less frizz. my drying time is also reduced: impressive for something pretty quiet! the dryer is lightweight and i plan to travel with it next week.i love a subtle but pretty design, so the matte & shiny black with wavy patterns is a nice bonus to a great product. i'd recommend!

Good & inexpensive low noise & not heavy at all

So I love the way my hair feels after using this dryer. It is soft and silky and light. The cord is nice and long so you do not feel as if you are anchored to the outlet. Changing the attachment is easy but the dryer itself does feel a little weighty i comparison to my previous dryer. I think it's due to the sturdy plastic that it is made of. I wish that there was a turbo button as the speed is slower despite being 1875. The HOT selection does not get REALLY hot but what I like is that you do not feel that burning sensation on your scalp where you have to move the dryer further away to stop the burn. So when using the comb attachment you can keep combing through without excess heat and this protects the hair too.

I have 2 of the Conair 3Q, 10yrs now. They still work but wanted to try this 1. I wasn't expecting much bc the 3Q is top level. This is on par w/the 3Q!! Low noise, gentle, light weight, sleek design, good controls placement. The controls slide, no buttons. If you're looking for something to blow your head off, this isn't it. This is def easy going and the heat settings are hotter than average. I only ever use Warm w/high fan setting.

I use the lowest heat setting because the hot one is HOT. it’s very light and I also bought the diffuser cup for it. It’s great. Drys my hair quickly and has great airflow without making my hair frizzy. Love the cold setting too.

So far it’s been a strong/fast dry time. Quiet enough to not terrify little ones and make the whole styling my hair straight less than 1 hr.

This dryer is just ok. Im a hairstylist over 45 years and thought this would be a good dryer. The ion buttons are in an awkward spot, and I keep turning them off. the attachments don't really fit that well.Heat level is pretty good, works well, and good value for the money.
