CLEAR2O® CFE1001 - Iron Water Filter - MADE IN THE USA

Installed this to our house water filter. It takes a lot of pressure to get the water through the filter. As a result, water at faucets were noticeably slow and toilet fill up was long. It did make the water taste better as we have high iron. However, removed the filter because of the lack of pressure. Our well water pressure gets to 60 psi, which is good.

I have been a customer since May 2023. I am no longer a customer because this filters performance is unpredictable. One filter will work as expected (no reduction in water pressure), then the next one will reduce the water pressure to a trickle or stop the flow of water completely! They appear to care, as their customer service is good and will replace the faulty filter, but a replacement filter takes a month to arrive. My last order was placed August 10th. The filter arrived September 8th. Water pressure after installing was reduced to a trickle. I returned the faulty filter on the 10th of September. The replacement filter arrived on October 12th. I installed the filter and this one would not allow ANY water through the filter! This was the last straw for me! They appear to work when they work, but who can tolerate an unpredictable product that takes a month to replace when they don't work!That is why I'm done buying anything from this company.

To be far, the product ad says it removes up to 3 ppm and “improves” water. Subjectively speaking based on taste I would guesstimate this product removed about 1/2 the iron in my water. My water clearly tasted like iron/metallic. Now it is much improved, easily drinkable, but there is still a hint of metal in the flavor. I would guess for my use if I had two of these filters in line it would do the trick.I am disappointed but it does approximate what the product ad details state.

Works great did exactly what advertisement said it would do. no it does not work on a low pressure system. I live in an RV and I use my RV water pump. my dating from the whale and use the day tank as dry camping no issues.

I tried these filters in two different houses that are on well water. While the water did look and taste better, the flow was so significantly reduced that we could not use the water. So disappointing.

Works as indicated.

I installed this filter in my whole house system where I usually use the typical 20micron filters to filter out iron from my well. After I installed this, it completely cut off the water supply. Is this even the right filter for this application??

The filters didn't work. The water wouldn't flow through them.
