Are all pieces roughly 8inches long? Also about how many logs per pack? This is for a project!

Yes all the logs should be approximately 8" in length and between 2 - 3 inches thick. Each box will contain between 18 and 22 pieces.

Is this amount smaller or larger than a face cord?

Significantly smaller than a face cord

Can you saw the wood for smaller pieces?

Yes you can cut them. They are approx. 10 inches in length. They were packaged as 2 stacks side by side in length in the shipping box. I was actually expecting them to be longer. We used them as starter logs in our Solo Stove Wood Burning Fire Pit.
