Give me the dark books!!
I'm not sure why I like this sooo much....but the darkness have pulled me right in. I love the toxic relationships, I love how fierce Everleigh is. Though I can't keep track of her mind!Loving every moment of this series!

Dark and disturbing, but can’t put it down
Book 2 in the 24690 series. Another good read, a great storyline and great characters. This is edge of your seat stuff. Wondering what happens next. I am however finding myself disliking main character Everleigh. It’s a long hard read, I went straight from book 1 to book 2. So much darkness in this series, I can’t put it all in the review as it won’t get posted on Amazon. I don’t think I’ve read anything so dark and disturbing. But I’m determined to get to the end. I’m just hoping it makes me happy.

AA Dark manipulates my emotions as 24690 manipulates men.
This is truly a "Dark Read" and content warnings should be considered. If you haven't read 24690, then read that first. This sequel relies on knowledge of the world of Whitlock and the masters therein. The last book left us on something of a cliffhanger and AA Dark does not disappoint. A gripping storyline, characters that seem so real you can't help but feel for them even as your recoil from their actions, and, of course, Slave 24690.Buy it. Love it, but set aside a whole day to read this as you will NOT want to put it down!

Just when you think you can’t be shocked anymore....
I’m a fan of dark reads but this is way beyond what I’ve read before and I’m still trying to come to terms with it haha! This is not for the faint hearted and read with caution but if you like beyond your normal dark reads then give this a go, you won’t be disappointed! I thought it was absolutely brilliant and I’m a fan of A.A dark as it is but this just pushes you a little more away from the other dark reads!

disappointed
I don't know where this book was going. After finishing the first book, I gave the second book a chance but to be honest, I got bored and couldn't even be bothered to finish it.

White out 2
This story is so good I can't put it down. I love every character and get attached only to lose them and start the process all over again. Author my hats off to you for another sequel well done. The horrors continue. Please only read this story if you can handle assault, violence and gore. If so enjoy!

Important background story
Brilliant background stories of 2 girls that make their reappearance in the last book. Everleigh and Bram’s story continues in the background of this book.

Excellent is an understatment
Th only warning you will get from me...this series is twisted, DARK, very wicked. If any of this is a trigger stay AWAY from this series, very honest about that. Bram Whitlock is the main master at an underground, hidden, completely off the radar community where men are masters and women are sex slaves. Bram is a young, gorgeous, successful, rich attorney in the outside world. Inside he is the ruler of all thing immoral. His best friend, as close to a brother West, has been beside him since they were young kids. West, also young, gorgeous, successful, and somewhat rich. They went to school together, learned about Whitlock together, started their law practice together. Both raised by sadistic, ruthless, cruel men; they grew into kinder men but, not much. Everleigh is a sex slave, she grew up in the Whitlock. She is a beautiful, young, woman with gorgeous blue eyes that all the master's at Whitlock want. In an unexpected twist (maybe, not really so unexcepted), Everleigh' s master is killed. By the rules of Whitlock, she goes back up for auction, which will sell her to a new master. This time though she is not innocent and certainly not a virgin; she is terrified. Bram is totally and fully in love with Everleigh; he has his mind made up that if he keeps her he will hurt her worse than anyone ever could. He couldn't bear killing her so he tries to force himself to not keep her. Until the auction though, he think he can have sex with her often enough to get the need for her out of his heart and soul. Unfortunately, for Bram one taste is not near enough for him. West, comes to Bram, telling him he wants to buy Everleigh. They argue but, eventually Bram thinks he is doing the best for Everleigh and agrees. Bram even offers to help make up the difference between what West ha and the final cost. He feels like West is the better of masters for her, she will be safer with him than anyone else. That is really all I can give without spoiling the series...which I will NOT do! From this point there is so much darkness...murder, rape, betrayal, manipulation it is incomparable to any book series I have ever read. I had such hard time putting these books down. Some of it is honestly difficult to read but, at the same time it draws you in so deep you don't want to look out. Wonderfully well written. The twists and turns make it near impossible to predict; honestly most books you can at least guess the direction, with this one I didn't have a clue where it was headed. The ending is a total cliffhanger, no idea if end is true or if there will be another to follow. I cannot even express how awesome this series is. No words will tell you how amazing, excellent, wonderful this series is. It is dark, dirty, HOT, sexy, cruel, mean, loving and so many other things. If you like dark books...this is an absolute must series; if dark triggers issues I promise this is NOT the series for you. Promise you won't regret it.

2.5 Stars – This became too crazy and unconvincing
The brutality in this book outshone the things that happened in the first book and there were some very vicious things that reached my limit regarding dark reads (which I never thought would ever happen). Though this book was generally not as dark as the first book or how I thought it would be, but it had some very disturbing, gruesome and pitch black scenes that almost made me sick.If you thought the first book was bloody, wait until you read this one, you’ll have another think coming.Although there were some scenes that almost upset my stomach, I didn’t mind reading such atrocious things. That’s also why I struggled with my rating for this book because I can't deny the author's talent but I just couldn't deal with the for me inconclusive and unconvincing too crazy of a change from the main character, and that she could play all these rich and powerful men who had played this game for far longer than her.It was all just too messed up for me and a mix between 2 and 3 stars because while I didn't necessarily struggle with it, I just disliked too much of the ridiculous things that were going on.At first I was really confused and didn't know right from wrong. Everleigh changed so much; I didn't even recognize her anymore. She definitely was no slave but a scheming bitch. Honestly, I just wanted her to be killed and have it finally over with. The story was turning in a circle and nothing made sense anymore. She was suddenly the strongest and every one of the Masters obeyed her. It was not conclusive and it all became so ridiculous considering how powerful those men were and what this place really was. How was it possible for them to survive for so long and stay hidden when it took only one slave to turn it all around and break it down? Those men always strived for more power and it was no wonder there were conspiracies going on, but she took it to another level with her manipulation and how well of an actress she was. If you could overlook where she came from and imagined her to be older with more experience and a fresh mind from the outside, I'd have better believed in what was going on but I just did not buy into one thing regarding her character. And what’s the actual point of the White Room?! I thought it was supposed to be for punishments, but they all got weapons to kill each other. WTF?! Why should they give the slaves the opportunity to do so when it was supposed to be degrading, a teaching of obedience and an all-out loss of power for them?! Now they got the power to kill everyone? It did not make sense at all. Not to mention where did all of those slaves suddenly come from?! It seemed like a never ending supply at the White Rooms. There wouldn’t be any left after two or three red lights, yet there were plenty. How was this never raising any suspicions on the outside when so many people disappeared?!The thing with Bram was a mystery to me too. First, I was really confused but liked the twist of not knowing what was real and what wasn’t. It kept me hanging on to the very misleading story to find out for sure what the truth was and hoped he was alive.I thought of a lot of paths this story could have gone down on but was very disappointed with the one it chose. There were so many possibilities but it took the worst, which is why I didn't like the ending and a lot that was leading down to it. It all seemed too unbelievable, no matter the fictional world. The damage was done and Everleigh was beyond gone. I don’t think she’s able to come back from all this because she was too schizophrenic to ever be normal again. She was delusional at times and beyond crazy. Her brain surely got damaged from all the beatings she had gotten over the years and she was just as psychopathic as her husband West and all the perverts at this place.Despite everything, I'll probably still read the next book in the hopes that it will take a huge turn around and go back to its roots because I want the true Masters to take over again and stop this unbelievable behavior of a mad woman. Also, I don’t want her to be the only one. Please bring back the other slaves and make the story great again.
