Help balance your zones and eliminate low pressure drops.
If you are having low water pressure issues in a sprinkler zone, consider changing out the nozzles to a lower flow rate (GPM). By lowering the delivery rate and extending the time for that zone, you can get the same coverage without pressure dropping during the watering cycle. And maybe you only need to change a few spray heads to balance the zone. It is also helpful (but not required) to have the tool to extend the head from the body and clamp it into the up position while you trade out this nozzle. This is a very simple procedure.

If you have low pressure problems such as one of your rotary sprinklers failing to pop up, try using a slightly lower GPM nozzle on the affected unit(s) to increase zone pressure, which can resolve problems

This was very easy to swap out the nozzle to get a longer radius that was needed.

Why?
Not sure why I ordered these. They were add on to a rotor sprinkler head. It was cheap, so I bought it. But I didn't use it.
