I tried this on a black sink and it made the sink worse by leaving white streaks on the surface.

I can’t answer that, only that we use it on a black sink and it works really well. Possibly it works on all colours.

Yes. I use it with my black Fragranite sink. It works more as a protectant than conventional cleaner and it works well at that. I always clean my sink with a conventional cleaner first to remove any grease or limescale stains, then apply this product to protect the surface and make future wipe over cleaning easier and more effective until the next application.
