works well, one issue
the device itself works as it should. i have only one issue. the size of the case. i considered the orientation of the plug and expected it to fit my outside plug. problem is, it doesn't clear the cover on the outlet. you could blame the cover, but most outdoor outlets have a weather cover. mine is a traditional size and type. the product should have been designed with this in mind. as it is, i had to use an extension cord.if this fit correctly, it would have been 5 star.

A good product.
Bought this to prevent water pipes from freezing by controlling a heat lamp in the pump house. It works well but the configuration covers both outlets on a duplex outlet. I had to plug it into an extension cord to maintain the use of the second outlet.

Bought for well pump house
I’ve had this for less than a month but so far so good. Even though the temperature has been well below freezing, the temp stay above 40deg in the pump house. Hopefully this product will last at least a full winter, preferably more!!

It works
The pipes in my inground well have frozen in the past & heat lamps usually break since they are on all the time. This item allowed the heat lamp to only turn on when needed so this year there were no frozen pipes or broken bulbs.

It appears to be doing what it is supposed to do
My father asked me to order this for him because we live in the north where it is colder and he was going to go on vacation. My father wanted to make sure the home was warm enough so there would be no damage from the cold when he returned. We have not had any problem with this item and it has been in use for over a month now.

NOT UL approved?
It appears to not be UL approved and it has a wifi symbol and a fake on-off switch on the front. The manual that was supplied with the unit mentions nothing about either wifi or UL approval.

Not impressed
Doesn't seem to match very closely to any of my thermometers and after a week doesn't seem to work at all. There appears to be an on button that does nothing. Can't recommend this one. When it comes to freezing temperatures, we need something reliable.
