Volcom Men's Frickin Regular Chino Pant Pants

Update- I have worn these pants now about once a week for a few months. I have to say they are probably the most comfortable pair of pants I now own. I go up and down stairs in my day to day and lifting,bending and flexing. The pants hold up and remain comfortable. They are relaxed through the thigh for those of you who asked that question, and the inseam is 32" but a little long for 32" so possibly 33" if you consider where the waist sits on your body. They do attract lint, but wash well and stay wrinkle free. As for the model they use in the picture, no they do not fit like that, at least not for me. I am 6'2" 200lb guy with shorter legs for my height. Like I said originally I was concerned about the fit and ordering blind. I ordered a size up from what I normally where and the fit was perfect and exactly what I was looking for in pants. I think I would not have given such a good review without ordering a size up. But the sizing is not for the waist it is for the legs. I did'nt realize I did this in my original post because I ordered several pairs of pants at the time and I am a guy I do not check the pant sizes after I get the pants and wear them. Overall for a pair of Chino's if you move around and bend stretch lift go up and down stairs or actually work while wearing chinos, I recommend these for comfort and flexibility that stands up to the job. If you just sit there all day and stare at a screen but walk to the lunch cart, not really going to need these there are other options that will fit what you need. --Original post- Great pants, quality stitching and material . When I ordered these I was concerned by the description "modern fit" to me this usually means form fitting. However, these were not, the legs were tapered a little, and the waist a little lower than standard. Yet these are very comfortable and durable pants. The only comment I have had was about the branding emblem being on the back of the leg. someone thought I had something stuck on my pants and tried to get it off. they then realized it was stitched in and would not come off.

Classic Volcom Chinos. Always high quality and the right fit. Been wearing them for 30 years and it's nice that we at least have a couple good things that never change.

Great fit overall, finally chinos that aren't too baggy. I'm a slender guy, and these work well for me. The ass is too baggy, though, but I have almost no ass, so I have that problem with other slacks too. I first bought Charcoal 2016, a great color. Liked them so much I bought another pair in Khaki 2016, and like them a lot too, although they don't have the same soft feel as the Charcoal, maybe something to do with the dye or the production lot. I've had both pairs of pants over a year now and wear them a lot, very useful for travel especially as they wear comfortably on planes, buses and trains. I travel for a living and they're a godsend. Except for one thing. The obvious flaw in the design is the slash pockets. You can't carry anything like keys or coins in them because as soon as you sit down for a minute or two, they slide right out of the pockets. After losing house keys and coins in taxis while wearing these pants, I've started carrying a small shoulder bag. Yeah the pants are so good it's worth it, but I wish they could re-design the angle of the slash pockets so that stuff doesn't fall out as easily. I have other chinos that do not have this problem because the angle is properly cut. But none of my other chinos are this comfortable or look as good. Love the tapered leg. Which they were tighter in the ass but I may try and get them tailored at some point. Taking off one star for pocket leakage and baggy ass.

My husband has been wearing Volcom chinos for lots of years, and this is the first time the 38 waist has been too small. I don’t know if these ones are made differently or what, but we had to return them for his first ever 40 waist. It is December so possible he’s showing the holiday goodies. Otherwise, the modern fit is a great option for men with muscular (or otherwise large) legs, who can’t comfortably wear slim legs but don’t want a baggie look. Likewise, my son is tall and slender and the modern fit is definitely roomy on him, still fashionable, but the slim fit looks better , and not tight like skinny pants. I recommend opting for the “try before you buy” to verify size. The length (32”) was accurate and the leg fit is right for my buff hubby. Just a super snug waist on this pair. Amazon has the best size and color selection of the frickin chinos anywhere I’ve found and is on par with price, too. I love these cus they make butts look fantastic and have strong knees and crotch to last a good long time.

Slightly loose fit, but I find them to be perfect as I tend to have issues finding pants to fit my legs. Material is soft and lightweight, but not too thin. Nice enough for the office, but also feel great to do any activity.

I'm forever "between sizes", a 32 waist is always too small and a 34 is always too big. I bought size 34 and they are just a bit big on me but I prefer the comfort over anything else. That said, I usually have to sacrifice style for comfort but that's not the case with these pants. I also have tree trunks for legs so slim fit pants are the bane of my existence and most straight fit pants (like these) look like clown pants. I'm very happy to report that these are not clown pants despite being straight leg! The stretch material is great! These are great work pants whether you work in an office or elsewhere. These pants are not super breathable so they get pretty warm but I'm willing to accept this in light of the great styling and fit.

Leider hatte ich übersehen, dass er Artikel aus den USA geliefert wird. Es hat lange gedauert und dann leider die falsche Länge. Da die Rücksendung leider nicht gratis war, habe ich davon abgesehen. Leider passt die Hose nicht und ich werde sie vermutlich verkaufen oder verschenken!

Perfect pants, not to tight or loose. Used on pair on 3 years, very solid and nice.
