Ricoh 407019 Color Photoconductor Drum Unit Set SP C430

This item as exactly what we needed to change out the needed parts. With the old drum units going out, we were having issues (odd color lines through entire page with certain colors) with our color printing. After installing the new ones, our issues stopped.

Always use OEM if you have a good quality printer. These installed quickly and have never had an issue.

Bought this as a very expensive replacement part for our business's Ricoh printer. The Ricoh rep came out and said we had to had to have this. It worked for 3 weeks and the printer developed a new printing problem.In fairness to the PCU, the Ricoh tech could have been wrong when he said the PCU was the problem. Either way, we're out ~$400 for the PCU, plus another $400 in Ricoh tech charges (2 trips) ... and we STILL don't have a functional printer.I've always been loyal to Ricoh, but this may be the last straw.

I wish you could just buy the colors individually. We were getting pink lines down the first third of our pages with color. I first replaced the magenta and it was still having the problem. I then replaced the blue and it is fixed. I'm taking away two stars because these are obviously used. The yellow pcu was not even in a sealed bag. It was just sitting on top of its ripped open bag with the orange protective sleeve not even opened. Each PCU was completely covered in dust along with fine scratches on the drums. The orange protective sleeves were rarely on them. The magenta bag was ripped. I'd give 1 star but despite these things being in ripped, not packaged, or completely covered in toner dust, it fixed our issue for much cheaper than going Ricoh direct. I didn't even need to try the yellow one so I'm not sure that one works well or not, as that is the one that did not have a orange protective sleeve properly on it or in a bag.If you get this, get a bunch of paper towels and wipe these suckers off the best you can first. At least in my package they were quite a mess, and this isn't toner. They shouldn't of had any toner in them. I'm attaching pictures of how it looked from opening the box. I did not even touch anything prior to taking these pictures.

The units work well. My only complaint is that you have to buy all three. I wish I could buy them separately since I usually need to replace only one that is messing up long before they have reached their life span. The printers don't last forever. I have to replace mine every three to four years. Replacing the units allows me to put off buying a new printer for a little while before something else starts to wear out.
