By the time the bar is tight enough in almost any door frame, you can literally watch and hear it crush and the wood when pressure is applied. I managed to get 2 pull-ups before it started to swivel on me and then wedged further down the frame. I tried it on all the frames in my house and only the front entry door didn't crack or pop. I can not recommend this device. Amazon of course will not allow a return after 30 days so Im stuck with it until I throw it away.

It’s a piece of crap, don’t buy it. Couldn’t even hold 190 lbs. I tried on several different areas around my house and door frames, would not hold my weight at all.

In all honesty, the bar was very well-made and sturdy. Seems like a very professional piece of equipment. Problem is, it actually cracked my door frame! That's why I'm giving it the rating that I gave. Just so everyone is aware. My door frame seemed very sturdy but I hope I dont get charged for a broken door frame !!

I’m 300 lbs and it didn’t have any problems. It did pop some of the trim nails heads through the paint.

Was able to use it for about a week until the foam adhesive no longer worked and I slipped and nearly fell on my back. I'm a bit heavy at 220lbs but this was fully tightened and rated for more than that and didn't hold up. They don't sell the foam adhesive separate so I have this siting in my closet waiting to see if i could ever use it again.

I bought it in Jan. 2021 and installed it in my master room's bathroom door. I am between 165 to 170 lb. Seldom used it. And someday in early Dec. 2021, my wife tried to use it (she is only 115 lb), it fell down. I installed it back and then used it less than 5 times after it. Today, April 10, 2022, when I tried to use it again, it broke, literally really broke. The side pad was broken.

Ended up giving it to a friend and they love it. The baseboards in my rental are old and made lots of creaking noises when assembling and using. I was too scared to damage the baseboards.

The bar is very sturdy and easy to install.
