This cuts as well as my serrated version of the same knife. It has the expected Cold Steel strength, utility and quality.

This knife is solid, no loose pins anywhere. The Sheepsfoot blade was super sharp out of the box, and after heavy use the Aus8 steel easily sharpens to a great edge. For a work knife from the Farm to performing Electricians duties, this is perfect. Has the Left/Right pocket clip, and sits deep in the pocket. Very happy with the brown color, scale design, and how smooth it opens one handed. It's built like a tank, so putting torque on the blade for a deep cut is not a problem. Definitely super happy with this purchase.

Great little knife. It's small and light enough that it can be carried in a shirt pocket for those times when you're doing work in a kneeling position. This means you don't need to rise up and straighten your leg each time you want to pull or stow the knife. That may seem like a trivial benefit, but believe me, it's nice. Also, the two large finger choils are great! Combined with the jimping on the top of the blade they allow a super sturdy grip when you need to put some effort into a cut, like when trying to cut through layers of paint to free a painted-shut window. Also, the short blade makes tasks like this much more effective than would a long blade. What bugs me about this knife is it can't be carried tip-up which means when pulling it from your pocket, you need to flip it 180-degrees to get it into position to flip the blade open with the finger notch. All in all it's a great knife for the price, though the lack of a tip-up carry option cost it a star in my opinion.

Nice inexpensive small knife. Well designed blade choll allows for a four finger grip on such a small knife. Wharncliffe style blade is perfect for opening Amazon boxes. Opening effort is too high to allow flicking unless you are super strong.

Smaller than expected. But Taiwan made. Lockback. Tapered blade edge. Sharp. Good for cutting boxes and other things. Easy to carry. Pocket or clip. Not too expensive. I have small hands. Video shows size of knife relative to my hands. If you had big hands, this knife might be hard to use.

Extremely sharp out of the box. Solid build. Comfortable in my hand. Performs as advertised. Great price. If needed, I would purchase again without hesitation.

Actually: I should say, "Great knife! Exclamation point!" I almost said, "Excellent LITTLE knife", or "GREAT DEAL!" But both of those make it sound like this knife is a compromise. It is not. This is a legitimate EDC. I have pretty big hands, and the finger indents make this knife fit comfortably in my hand. The blade is small-ish, but come on, how much blade length do you really need and use? I love that it comes in a red handle, because I'm a tree guy. So if I drop this knife in the grass/dirt/mulch, I can find it! (I hate black/green/brown handles.) Easy to open with one hand. So well-designed that it is ALSO easy to CLOSE with one hand! Hard to explain, but the finger cut-out is positioned perfectly to protect you from getting cut while closing the knife!! Compact. Incredible price. Buy one. You'll love it. Buy two, and give one away!

Filosa como solo una navaja o cuchillo Cold Steel suele ser de una Excelente Calidad!!. Me encantan los cuchillos y navajas, ya tengo mi colección que incluyen marcas como Böker, Gerber, Kyocera (cerámica), etc. y van desde los de hoja de cerámica y hace unos días adquirí aquí en Amazon 2 de acero Hitachi "blue steel" con un HRC (60-64). Siempre tuve ganas de comprar Cold Steel; pero no hubo oportunidad; sin embargo la oferta en Amazon de esta navaja me llamó la atención y no dejé pasar la oportunidad de probar el afilado y el mecanismo de trabe de esta famosa marca y no me decepcionó!; al contrario quedé totalmente complacido con el filo (casi como el de un bisturí o cuchillo de cerámica) y cuidado al abrirla!! puede cortarte ya que el resorte o mecanismo de cierre es duro y suele cerrarse si no eres cuidadoso al desplegar la hoja en su totalidad. El seguro también es muy fuerte y confirmo que esa "virtud" de los cuchillos plegables de esta marca ostentan. Para terminar solo comento que la versión que recibí "varía" ligeramente a la imagen del producto (si ves la foto) el grabado del nombre de la navaja viene en otra posición a la mostrada en las fotos del producto; pero el producto si es una auténtica navaja COLD STEEL, que hace honor a su fama de ser muy filosas y el seguro de trabe de estas navajas es muy fuerte y difícilmente ya abierta y con el seguro trabado se te cerrará, pues necesitas de las dos manos para desbloquearlo y plegarla. ¡¡Si estás pensando adquirirla no te la pienses es una de las mejores navajas en cuanto a filo y mecanismo de trabes más seguros del mercado!!
