Unbelievable profit margin
I have a 2017 Volvo XC90. Have been trying to find the PCV valve at the dealership. It cost about $400 and at advance auto around $239 and here I just got it for $38 simply amazing so far the car is running perfectly fine. Was able put in within 20 minutes And part fit in perfectly so no issues so far.. so even if there is a risk of ending up with a lemon from this vendor still $38 is not too much of a loss. You can always order another one after six months and that will last another six months. So to me, it’s no-brainer to use this part since it’s so easy to install on your own.

Perfect fit, nice quality, fixed the problem! DIAGNOSTIC video included to confirm problem
Excellent item, very pleased! I’ve provided a video that will show you how to diagnose the issue to see whether or not this is what’s going on on your vehicle to confirm you need to replace this oil trap/PCV diaphragm. Very happy with the product check engine light went off after about 4050 miles of customer driving it. It cannot be reset with a scan tool, no matter how powerful it must go off on its own after drive cycle performed. Especially on the newer Volvo engines.

Easy fix and saved hundreds!
At just over 72k miles my 2019 Volvo XC40's engine light came on and RPMs were surging at idle. Also a noise that sounded like a squeaky belt. Free code reader at Auto Zone showed a probable vacuum leak. After a few Google searches, the Oil Trap PCV Valve was the likely cause. Euro online auto parts wanted $180 to $200 and I heard Volvo's OEM part was close to $400. Easy 20 minute install. I figure I saved about $750 by not taking it to the Volvo dealer.

Works great
Was skeptical about this when I ordered, but been using it a month and no problems. Will update this review if that changes

Loud whining noise? This is your fix 👍
Installed on 2018 Volvo S90 T5 AWD at 100k miles. Bolts lined up perfectly. Only difference than the OEM is where the PCV hose connects to the assembly is slightly less wide, in which the clamp cannot be used (fits just fine without clamp). Hard plastic just like OEM. Diaphragm (which was cause of vacuum leak causing whining noise) on this product is thicker which is good (less prone to tearing later on). Plenty of videos on Reddit/YouTube on how to change, super easy to change. Took a bit of leverage with flathead to pop off original due to OEM gaskets almost sealed onto it. A good wipe down around the top & it was good to go. This assembly cost just as much as the diaphragm itself for replacement. Drove around 15mins and ensured the bolts did not need to be re-tightened, checked for leaks, and all good!

Perfect replacement for 2016 XC60--easy install
You'll know when it's time to change--the clogged breather assembly starts screaming. Installing this part was almost as easy as plug and play. The replacement from start to finish took 10 minutes (that includes putting away the tools).

IT WORKS JUST FINE.
This is a no brainer. Beginner level install skill and 20 minutes gets you back on the road. Hardest part was removing the old one as it was intimidatingly stuck on. This unit fit on the 2018 XC90 just fine. After about 50 miles of driving the check engine light went out as well. If the same squealing noise comes back maybe I'll go to an OEM Volvo, but I can probably buy this once a year and still have money left over from what it most likely will cost at a dealership.

Volvo PCV failure replacement
Noise that sounds like a problem with the fan belt gone. Check engine light gone. I used this on a 2019 Volvo XC40 T5. Easy installation. Saved hundreds of dollars doing it with my friend. Took less than 30 minutes. There are plenty of videos online for easy instructions. Here is the noise that my Volvo made before. I hadn’t captured the after. But the noise is gone. As always run diagnostics before installing.
